Kid Devil takes the spotlight with some moody, fitting fill-in art and a guest-appearance by Blue Devil.
We learn that Eddie will no longer be a TITAN the moment he exits his teens.
Neron is scary!

Great, great issue! I actually just read this last night.
We see some really cool things: the Neron/Blue Devil storyline revisited, which I think is a great idea. I just *knew* that Kid Devil had a Neron connection and I think Johns did a great job of giving us a sense of forebooding for whats in store for poor Eddie (these things never end good!).
The story itself, while clearly going in the direction it was, was beautifully executed. Johns is a master-storyteller when doing things in one issue.
The Kid Zatarra/Kid Devil friendship is suddenly really cool! I'm interested in seeing more of this. Them being friends makes for some cool possibilties. I started that thread about their two weeks in hell mainly as a joke at first, but now I'm interested in further trips to the abyss.
Awesome to see Blue Devil and the Shadowpact all over the DCU lately (here, in Checkmate, etc.). The Oblivion Bar is kinda *the* hot setting to visit right now.
Kid Devil continues to be a character I'm interested in and care about. I really like that they included him and Ravager OYL in Titans, and I think they've fit in perfectly. The first 40 issues or so of this run, while good IMO, still had the lingering effects of Graduation Day and Titans history weighing down on it. Cut to OYL and things have clearly moved forwad and we are in a whole new era, and one of the best EVER IMO. Kid Devil has been a pleasure to read, and I can't wait for more.

Funny thing, my brother was reading it after me and when he saw Blue Devil's origin for the first time he was like 'that is Blue Devil's origin? It's terrible!'. I told him that while most 90's comics left much to be desired, he need not worry, as Blue Devil's story actually gets better, so keep reading the issue.
Oh, and Faust is such a kick-ass character. He was definately one of the stars of the much missed 90's Outsiders series, and I'm glad he pops up from time to time. I wish he'd be more involved in either Shadowpact or the new Outsiders.

I'd never seen Sebastian Faust before, but I am intrigued by the character. I'd love to see him reappear in these pages, maybe as a prefessional foil for Raven. I doubt that they'd work well together...

Same here. I'd never seen Sebastian before that I recall. Would love to see more...perhaps this is who ends up with the Helmet of Dr. Fate. Wouldn't that be an interesting twist of fate?

Yeah, Faust was a member during vampire-Looker's tenure!
I recently reread that entire run (22 issues, iirc). Pretty good for mid-90s DC.
