I mean, there was already a winged Titan character going unused-- Golden Eagle. Did he ever get used? YES, as cannon-fodder in TITANS HUNT, while that mewling wuss Azrael got to live.

There are 2 good Lorna costumes: the weird alien Cockrum designed is one but my ABSOLUTE FAVE is her original teal outfit, complete with lace-up boots, headgear and the skull brooch.

Take a look at this work by Vecchio (also posted in Bits) that contrasts Golden Eagle and Azrael-the-first. Even though it's not really how G.E. looked in the books, I think it bolsters Lash's point.

He was rubbish.

In fact I went right off the Titans soon after he first turned up. I think Marv was beginning to lose control over the book at this point!

What was bird boy supposed to do? He turned up and made a big fuss over Lilith - why?! What was that about? Then he disappears is "somehow" conected to Brother Blood and Raven and then goes missing again.

I totally gave up reading Titans at this point - so if anyone read on and knows if Azrael did anything else please let me know!

He didn't do anything but suck a lot.

Oh, and cry. He cried a LOT.
