I used to think those little seeds were called "Sesame Street seeds."

The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

Back in the '80's, every once in a while, I actually sort of kind of enjoyed New Kids on the Block. I will now hang my head in shame.

Galileo once published some results in an anagram, in order to stake his claim to them before he had fully verified the findings.

Today I got some "bad" news. Kid Prime back in the 80's, every once in a while, actually sort of kind of enjoyed New Kids on the Block.

I'm ....

...devastated.

wink

I love those candies from the Middle East which look like tiny bricks of glass with sesame seeds embedded in them. Crunchy, very addictive. Got some at Christmas smile

Half-and-half is a mixture of equal parts cream and milk and has a butterfat content between 10.5 and 18%. It can be substituted for a 7/8 cup of milk and 1 1/2 tablespoons butter per cup half-and-half.

Also: U.S. recipes with their weird ingredients and volume measurements are a continuous source of vexation to me. Still, not all is lost as long as I can correctly identify a tablespoon.

I've bought lottery tickets less than a dozen times in my life, and never bothered to check and see if I won. Surely there is $600 billion out there for me somewhere? I'll claim it when I'm not busy posting.

Former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman claims that he wrote the tune to "Jumping Jack Flash" and that Jagger and Richards swiped it from him.

The late major league scout and coach Mike Gonzalez is credited with coining the phrase "good field, no hit," in reference to future backup catcher and OSS operative Moe Berg.

Everyone says they're the same, but there's a subtle difference between Trefoils and Shortbread when ordering Girl Scout cookies. Shortbread are better, assuming the new no trans fat recipe doesn't change the taste.
