Today I learned about how unhealthy soybeans can really be. It was rather depressing. From estrogen, to lowering your immunity, to inflaming prostates, to genetic altering. And my soy milk made no mention on the container! I don't know what to think anymore!

Switch to rice milk. I did. And only fermented organic soy products. Food is a minefield these days.

The song "Mahna Mahna", which so many of us remember so fondly from Sesame Street, originated in an "adult" movie. In the Sesame Street version, the fuzzy little Muppet who sings the "Mahna Mahna" part does a riff on "Santa Lucia".
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

We brought home our first carton of the stuff in mid-October.  So good but sooooo bad for you. I drink the light stuff, mixed half and half with skim milk, at least until Christams day, then it's the real thing spiked with rum!

My boyfriend made me an awesome birthday cake on Saturday: 2 layers of chocolate cake with chocolate chunks, spiked with Amaretto, a layer of cherries in the middle, chocolate frosting, covered with chocolate shavings.
