Am I the only one who thinks he'd kind of work as a Legion character?

That's just creepy!

Arms falling off are cool--but an extra one coming outta yer gut...to hold your hot dog with? Comics don't need that kinda heat on them!

What's really creepy is that is clearly the arm of an adult male coming out of his gut holding his hot dog!

There's some freaky symbolism going on there!

Still... he's kind of like a reverse Gym'll!

Who "Hunger Lad"? I really dont see the point of having an 8 page insert of that ad running through the majority of Titles.

He'd work better as a Legion reject. I wonder if his arm retracts.

There is also a TV commercial utilizing the third (adult male) arm coming out of a young boy's torso. It doesn't seem quite as creepy as the print ad.

Freud Lad, with the power to spread angst of all sorts. Maybe he could get together with Phantom Girl, who's always putting her arm through someone's chest - or vice versa.

Ah, the arse-end of the Threeboot -- a time when the ads were freakier, funnier, and more fantastical than anything on the interior pages.

Isn't it?! Surely all my letters to DC about a Colon Kid Legion spin-off haven't been in vain?

My letters in vane were to get Kite Kid inducted and the ones in vein were to get Dracula Damsel into the team (came close with Vrykos in v4 on that one)

Limb Lad misled everyone and let them believe that he could generate arms and legs from within his body to lash out at nearby foes, or grab items, or whatever. Little did they know that he had become quantum entangled with his older brother, who now existed *stuck inside of him* and could only get an arm or leg out of the entanglement at any time!

I know the legion were short of members at the time, but I think they went out on a limb to let him join.

Now, now, there's no 'arm in that.
