Was wondering why a new thread was started for the what I did today thread.

...am recovering after a looooong but fruitful Reunion day. The day event was salvaged by a pleasant breeze and a LOT of cute kids. And the evening dinner lasted a bit into this morning, even though it officially ended at midnight. We spent an hour talking in the parking lot because nobody was quite ready to go home.

Ooog, I need a nap.

Have nothing to do, but I'm still in Fort Smith AR, so I guess I'll explore some history...

After much internal discussion and perusing of "Entertainment Fort Smith" I visited Miss Laura's, and had a not so light lunch at Doe's Eat Place, where the steaks are priced by the pound (with the smallest steak on the menu being a 1-1/2 lb t-bone).

...have to go to the doctor to finally figure out this ailment / possible onion allergy / possible ulcer I've had for three years. Its become quite painful.

PS - Pov, I have my 10 year HS reunion later this year! But yet, it feels like you're 5 years younger than me sometimes...and I act like I'm 14!

... have to return 2 library books.

... digitally reunited (as in "on the computer", not... never mind...) with someone I lost touch with a decade ago and feared I'd never speak to again. I am loving Facebook right now.

BTW FC, what are saskatoon berries? i've never heard of them before.

... am spending the day with 5 of my great nephews & great nieces. We will be going to Georges Island and have a picnic there. My nephew Andy will be helping me.

...went through my college classmates on Facebook and two years in either direction, friending the folks I knew, but have lost touch with. So far, one has friended me back, a guy down in Brazil.

Spent the day in Cleveland.

Got Painter 11. Going back to college has it's advantages.

Look like blueberries, taste sort of like grapes, but have fairly large seeds, grow on trees, wild all over the place here. Also called Indian Pears or serviceberries. I don't know that they have anything in particular to do with Saskatoon.

That reminds me, I should pick more today. They're good in muffins and pancakes; the cooking softens the seed.
