Whether or not you betrayed Dr. Mayavale.... I think Teeds must have been Countess Ellen Olenska, from Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence. Lardy was surely Falstaff. I was the Rabbi's Cat from Joann Sfar's graphic novel set in 1930s Algeria, which explains why I like Middle Eastern food so much.

Why, just yesterday I used a paperback of The Age of Innocence to prop up a fan.
I should finish (reading) that book some day.

I was either Curley's wife from Of Mice and Men or Curly from The Three Stooges.
There was definitely a Curly involved.

I thought you might have been the Golden Fleece, although that story didn't end so well for you. Originally posted by Thriftshop Debutante: Why, just yesterday I used a paperback of The Age of Innocence to prop up a fan. Well! That proves my point.

As I've said before, I think of Crames when I read Thursday Next.
I bet FC can swing a mean croquet mallet, too.

I was Pip in Great Expectations. At least my 9th grade English teacher thought so, and made me read the entire abridged version in front of the class.

I haven't read much fiction except for assigned reading since high school, so most of my knowledge is from childrens books or young adult fiction.
For Question Lad, I equate him with Edmund. They both succumbed to evil, but both were able to rise above it do to the actions of people that cared about them. I quickly looked up the character and was amused that Edmund as King of Narnia was called The Just, because Question Lad loves justice.
I really don't know who to equate Emily to other than maybe the Huntress.
