...attended the tenth annual Blob-Fest in my hometown, watching a screening of "The Blob," in the very same theatre in which the teens in the movie were watching a movie when the Blob attacks. Bizarrely meta.

Finished doing inventory on 7 of my 12 longboxes of comics, plus 1 short box. I had been meaning to do it for a long time.
On the positive side, I have every Volume 1 Superboy comic from #83 on (except #88 I don't yet own and #183 which I know I have but can't find yet).
On the negative side, my son, who went to HeroesCon with me, pointed out "Hey Dad, a lot of your comics were in the Dollar Bins!"

...saw a prisoner. I was at the eye doctors waiting for my pupils to dilate when they called another patient. THis one guy got up as did the two men with him. At first I thought "Why are you all going in?" Then I noticed the handcuffs on the first guy and the shackles. And I thought "Oh!"

... took a boat ride to Georges Island in Boston Harbor. It was Free Fun Friday so there was no charge. It was FREE fun Friday so there were lots of people.

Got up early, packed, left for the airport, got on my 1st flight, layover, got some food, got on my 2nd flight, arrived in SD, took shuttle to hotel, checked-in, unpacked, and collapsed. I'm now debating if I'm going to order room service or go out to eat.
