...spent much of the day (and indeed almost all free time since Friday) looking for a missing notebook vital to the senior project I'm working on, and specifically for a section draft due Friday. After checking all the likely and not-so-likely spots, I was convinced I'd left it at a restaurant Thursday (but the restaurant said they hadn't found it). I just found it 20 minutes ago tucked into a thick government report binder... I could scream. But at least I have it.

...I took the fourth of eight exams I must complete before I can recieve my CPCU designation for the insurance/reinsurance industry. This one, Corporate Finance, was much more interesting than the previous one, the Legal Environment of Insurance (*choke*, eyes glazing over just thinking about it)

...awoke to helpful emails from a temp agency that utterly treated me like crap last year. They think that I should beg them for more work and take more of their tedious quizzes, or else they'll tell Unemployment that I'm antisocial and smell bad.

I don't believe in solving life's problems with gunfire, no matter how fashionable it becomes. However, maybe envelopes full of itching powder will prove to be an adequate and safe substitute.

scream

Stay tuned.

Um...don't know if powder in envelopes would be the best course..

Today I rode with my son for the first time since he got his permit...and he did amazingly well.

Still, we took my wife's car, just in case. wink
