...lost my dog in the woods for about 3 hours and freaked out because I feared she might have gotten caught in a trap. I couldn't think of any other reason why she wouldn't come to the whistle or bark if she'd hurt herself. One minute she was behind me and the next ... gone. Anyways, after hours of tramping through the woods, I went home and there she was, sitting by the front door. And a neighbour comes out and says, oh, your dog has been there for an hour. She's pretty annoyed with you.

 Been there. Today I sat on my butt and watched basketball and tried to do very little else till I dragged myself to the computer.

...paid the electric bill for Feb 09 (including heat). It was down significantly from January. Yay! Spring is here, electric bill goes down each month for awhile!

What are 'Suleman kids'? I need to know in case I have one and need to get it out of your way. Oh, wait. You're going to Disney WORLD. Not to worry. That's a long way from DisneyLAND! . . . struggled with kids all day, trying to get them to want to learn something. sigh The only light in their eyes was when we were talking about someone (probably Vulcan) hitting Zeus in the head with an axe and Athena springing, fully grown, from his split head. sigh

Thanks AFOB, but I don't feel like I have any patience. :rueful: . . . slept in until 1:00PM, :embarrassed:, and then put on a pot of blackbeans and ham to cook for dinner. (I'll make the cornbread just before Chuck gets home.) . . . will spend most of the evening alone since my 73 yr. old husband is studying for his motorcycle endorsement classes this weekend. gads!
