Awwww, you guys are the best! So sweet! I've never been anyone's turtle dove before!

I loved working on this issue and I hope it shows. For the record though, I have officially been dumped from the Legion title, and the Titans/Legion special will be my last issue. Steve Wacker has always told me how happy he's been with my work on the book, but apparently the new team gets to work with whomever they choose, and it's not me. I'll miss it terribly.

Damn. Well, here's hoping the title really is successful enough to have spinoff series and we get to see Ronda on one of those!

While I appreciate the thought, it would probably just get me branded as a troublemaker! After all, what Steve told me may have been just his way of letting me down gently. Believe it or not, there are actually better colorists than me out there.

But none who are as fun and hang out here!

I'm not sure. While I'm touched that you guys are willing to do this for me, I don't want to be seen as a poor loser. I freely admit that there are people out there much more talented than me. There are colorists who are a lot worse too, but I trust TPTB would know the difference.

Please keep in mind that I will still have work. The upside of working for a studio is that they essentially act as an agent for me. Unfortunately, not all the work is as fun as the Legion.

Ronda, I just want to add my voice to the chorus of fans of your incredible coloring.
You made Lightle's artwork shine in this issue.
I hope you will still find time to hang out here with us.

Surely they must be confused or deluded. The colors have been spectacular since you've been handling them. What more could they want from a colorist?

Well, I hope we continue to see you on some Legion work or other comics.

I trust you wouldn't be considered a troublemaker for saying you enjoy working on the book and would like to continue! That's music to the fans' ears - we want the creative team to love the Legion as much as we do.

Ronda eminently deserves to get more "Legion" work.

Yet if anyone here wants to let off steam by expressing that opinion in a letter to DC, why not do so? You'd accomplish no more than you thus do with your local daily paper, o'course.

It's not going to affect Ronda's prospects, positively or negatively. That's because the DC powers-that-be have made eminently clear that they don't give two hoots in hell about letters from readers any more. Either in getting them or heeding them.

So if you need the release, why not?
