1) In L27, I noticed both you & Andy are credited as inkers. Just wondering which pages you did.

2) On average, how far in advance of the comics going on sale do you get the pencils & script to work on?

1.Andy did 13-17 I did the rest

2. Typically we are about 3 months ahead of newstand date, however, books have been double shipping, which killed our deadline lead. This is the reason the inking chores were split on #27, as well as #29 too. I think we are back in a pretty good zone right now, #30 should be all me

how long on average does it take for you to ink an issue ???

and what happen's if you make a mistake !!!??? to the original artwork ???

On Average, it takes just as long to pencil as it does to ink, sometimes inking will actually take longer. Roughly it works out to one page per day.

Usually this is about 10-12 hours per page, although, some page can be much more detailed ,and take more time. You'll see a few pages in issues 28 and 29 that took about 20-22 hours to ink. I would imagine chrise put quite a lot into these too, as the art is simply stunning!

As for mistakes, they happen, that's why god invented white out

and does your day have a structure, do you start and finish around the same time or as long as the work is done, it doesn't matter, when you do it ???

I work out of my house.

Structure, well, its getting there, ya see, i am reaclimating to working in the biz again, I took about a 5 year break from things, and getting readjusted has been a buit difficult. SO up until recent, I have been getting up, working until I drop dead from exhaustion, then I get up and do it all over again. Thankfully as of late, I am actaully waking up in the morning like a normal human working during the day, and sleeping a normal night

Now you've whetted my appetite. I can't WAIT to see these pages!

so are you working now ??

and in a sense is like you are working for yourself ?? and if you wanted you could go out all day [ shopping for example ] you could ....

but then work through the night to get the work done ??

I'm off right now, I finished up issue #29 this past Wednesday, and I start on #30 this monday.

And yes the freelance schedule is a flexible one, but you have to make sure to leave most of your fun until after your work is done, just to make sure obligations are met on time

So, are you working on anything else right now besides the Legion? Do you work for the 'other side' (meaning Marvel) at all?

Nope, not working on anything else right now.

I have worked for Marvel and would gladly do so again, I am a freelancer, so you have to go where the work is

I'd like for this and other topics to remain. They're resource material for some of us and fun to revisit.
