Comic Book Workshop

If you're an accomplished "creator" or just a frantic fan of this mind-melting medium and would love to produce your own comics, this is THE workshop for you. The class will focus on all aspects of the craft of producing a comic book, from start to finish. Big Al will take you from concept, character creation, development, basic writing elements and storytelling through sequential illustration and all aspects of the art and production.
Class goal: To create a comic book of any style and take it from scratch to a print-ready comic book yarn. 'Nuff said!
Al has held virtually every position in the industry during the last 25 years, creative and administrative, and has won Harvey, Eisner, and Comic Buyers Guide Awards. Al's work can be found in the pulse-pounding pages of Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four (Marvel), Tom Strong (ABC), WildStar (Image), Justice League, and The Legion of Superheroes (DC) among others.
Pre-enrollment is $175.00 for a month (4 classes), or $50.00 per session.
Workshop has started and is ongoing. Location in San Francisco.
