I'm experiencing really long waits between posting and being sent back to the thread. Like a good boy, I sit tight, but I wonder if anyone else is experiencing this slow down. Otherwise, it must be my connection (DSL - which should be lickety split).

Semi I'm not having any issues with speed at all and I'm on my laptop which is connected through my wireless network. I know DSL and cable both can slow down with the number of users in the vicinity of your connection so that may be a cause. It may also be a resource issue with your PC. Have you tried rebooting to free up some memory?

Plus I know that the site is slow on my LAN at work and there its the firewall that causes the problems.

LW has recently been blazingly fast on my computer, which is dial-up. It's even faster on my computer than on several other computers I've tried that are DSL or cable-enabled.

Computers are weird.

It must be my DSL then. It's still slow. I almost go to sleep between screens. On Monday I call "The Company."

I'm on the molasses net and I have lots of problems and delays as a consequence. One trick I learned, after you hit reply, as soon as the "processing" ends, hit Stop then right-click on Back to bypass reloading the thread. It saves me a lot of time.
