In the following sentences can you find the last name of the secret identities of some DC heroes? For example in the sentence: Ted knew estate law. You have Wally West's last name in "knew estate"
I did a couple of other of these. I may link them later
1) Darrin waited in the getaway car while Jack entered the bank.
2) Mary got her revenge by ripping Ray's only picture of his mother into bits.
3) The best way to start a fire is to use one big log and surround it with crumpled paper.
4) Irving ranted and raved about the new restaurant in his neighborhood
5) Doris snidely said that we'd need a sharper knife to cut Cindy's roast.
6) There is no way Ned would miss going to opening day for his favorite baseball team.
7) Dane was embarassed when the principal lent him a dollar for lunch.
8) Betthany was the first one in line to see the new Batman movie.
9) "For your intro, you want something that will capture the audience's attention" my music teacher always said.
10) Adam felt that Joan would accept his proposal when she saw the antique engagement ring he had bought for her.

#7 has me stumped.
So here's some other options to bide the time, based on the theme of the message board.
1) The sleek fish burst from the water, strong and shining like silver in the setting sun.
2) His niece’s performance on the harpsichord was abysmal, Lord Ipswich noted sourly.
3) Check the forward oxygen tanks to make sure that they did not spring a leak during the collision.
4) The stark emphasis he placed on the last word made it clear that the interview was over.
5) We might as well just paint targets on our head, with radar like this!
6) ‘All on board?’ the carriageman asked rhetorically as he whipped the horses into motion.
7) The archaeologist fumed, ‘I told you not to dig by the riverbed! Now all of these artifacts are ruined!’
8) ‘We’ve got to get there before Wilbur roughs up the wrong guys!’
9) I’ve never seen such a muddled, contradictory mess as the Fallon organizational chart.
10) The price of oil has fallen, although it is likely to rise again come summer.

A lot of Legion last names are kinda short, which makes it a bit tougher.
