In my spare time (ok, at work ) I like to do logic problems. I figured it might be fun for you guys and gals to try too. So I've adapted some of the puzzles I've solved to be LMB oriented for you to solve.

An easy one to start

Drink to it

One night at the Hootchie Hut, five LMBer's sat around drinking and swapping tales of the villians they've faced. Each LMBer told one tale while drinking a different drink (including Tequila). Each story involved a different villian (including Salad Tosser Lord). Can you match each LMBer with the order they told their stories, the villian they faced and the drink they were drinking while talking?

1. Faraway Lad enjoyed gulping back a Brandy. The LMBer who drank Rye wasn't Dedman.
2. Dev-Em (who fought one of Cobalt's many children) told his story two tales after the LMBer who drank Vodka, who told his story later than the one who faced Entropy Spinach.
3. Neither Dedman (who didn't face Pornus) nor Lardlad told their tale fifth.
4. Cobalt Kid told his story after the one drinking Rum but before Dedman.
5. The one who faced Time Trpper Mouse told his story last.

If you figure it out post the answer and I'll post another problem.

Hmmm.. I am good at these and I have it practically figured out except for who faced Pornus & Entropy Spinach.

the rest of the answer that I have (which could be wrong because of the above unknown) is:

1 Lardlad drinking rum
2 Cobalt Kid drinking rye
3 Dedman drinking vodka and talking about Salad Tosser Lord
4 Dev-Em drinking tequila and talking about Cobie's Kid
5 Faraway Lad drinking Brandy and talking about Time Trapper Mouse

You have the order right Quis and the villains so far. Some of the drinks are still scrambled though.

I got the same results as Caliente.

(I used to do logic puzzles all the time, but I got out of the habit ... still have a few unfinished old puzzle magazines somewhere ...)

Now for a tougher one.

The Many Dates of Cobalt Kid

One week Legendary dater Cobalt kid made dates with 5 young ladies who happened
to be friends. Each young lady is known by a different heroic name. Each lady
was taken to a different location on Legionworld for a date (Cramer's Café;
Giant Squid Memorial; Hootchie Hut; Rockhopper's Rookery; and Shakes) on a
different day (Tuesday; Wednesday; Thursday; Friday; Saturday) and each is a
different age (19; 20; 21; 22; 23). Can you determine the order in which Cobalt
dated these ladies (identified by full name) as well as where he took them;
their heroic name and their ages?


1. These four friends often watch Holo-vids together: Crystal, the 20 year old,
the 21 year old and the one Cobalt dated fifth.
2. The one called Antacid Lass isn't surnamed Causy (who didn't go to Cramer's
Café).
3. The one Cobalt dated second, who didn't go to Cramer's Café, isn't called
Antacid Lass.
4. Three friends are the 23 year old (who isn't Kammi) the one surnamed Stein,
and the one called Gift Gal.
5. These 3 friends enjoy playing Legion Trivia together: the one surnamed Causy,
the one Cobalt dated fourth, and the one called Glass Lass. The one Cobalt dated
fourth (who isn't Anna) didn't go to Cramer's Café.
6. Four friends are the one called Gift Gal, the one who went to the Giant Squid
Memorial, the one surnamed Ball and the 19 year old.
7. The five ladies are Phyllis, the one surnamed Rexia, the one called Glass
Lass, the one who went to Cramer's Café, and the one Cobalt dated fifth.
8. These three ladies often play Super Bingo......OF SPACE!!!! together: the 22
year old (who's surname isn't Stein), Kammi (who didn't go to Shakes) and the
one Cobalt dated third.
9. Three friends are Crystal, the one called Reckless Maiden (who didn't go to
the Giant Squid Memorial) and the 22 year old (who didn't go to Shakes or the
Giant Squid Memorial).
10. These three ladies like to catch lunch at the Evil Genius Club: the one
surnamed Ball, the 22 year old, and the one called Shallow Gal.
11. The 21 year old wasn't dated fourth
12. The one called Gift Gal didn't go to the Hootchie Hut.
13. Candace, who isn't called Shallow Gal, isn't the 22 year old (who didn't go
to Rockhopper's Rookery).
14. The one surnamed Kaines isn't 22 years old.

Quick to Draw
Four LMB Artists (including Sketch Lad) were commissioned to provide works to post around LegionWorld. The four artists set to work each working in a different medium (one used pen & ink) for a different location. After a few days the artists completed their works (one was a picture of Mon-El).
From the information provided, determine the design of each picture created by each artist as well as the location (including Rockhopper's Rookery) and the medium each artist worked.

1. The picture done in pencil is neither the one hanging in the Evil Genius Supper Club (which isn't the Ultra Boy picture) nor the one in the Psyonian Embassy.

2. The picture in the Office of Security (which wasn't made by Joe-Boy) is neither the one of Superboy nor the one of Ultra Boy

3. Dedman didn't use charcoal or pencil for his picture.

4. The Superboy picture wasn't made by Monkey-Eater Lad. Three pictures are the one by Dedman, the one done with a Sharpie and the picture in the Office of Security.

5. The four artists are Monkey-Eater Lad, the one who drew Starman, the one who's work is hanging in the Office of Security, and the one who worked with Pencil.

Cali...The first time I tried the original version of this puzzle I had the same thing happen. After checking my work, it turned out I had made an incorrect assumption.

LMB at the HoloVids

LegionWorld Movie CO. has made five holovids about the adventures of the LMB. Each movie featured a LMB member facing off against a different villian (including Lard Lord) and each holo was released a different month (August through December). After some ensueing havoc, each villian was defeated by a different method ( one was captured in a Giant Net), and thus LegionWorld was safe again.
From the information provided, determine the hero featured in each holo (including Quislet Esq.), the villian they faced, the month of release and the method by which each villian's rampage was ended.

1. Tamper Lad's holo was released at some point after the holo where the villian was subdued by Getting Drunk (who was neither the Red Bee or Salad Tosser Lord)

2. The holo about the villian who was defeated by an Energy Bubble was released sometime after the one about a villian who was trapped in a Space Rift.

3. The holo about the villain defeated by powerful sedatives was released some point after the Tamper Lad holo but some point before the Caliente holo.

4. Neither the Rockhopper Lad holo nor the holo with Royal Inquisitor as villian are the films that featured the villian being defeated by Getting Drunk. Neither Caliente's holo ( who didin't defeat her villian with an Energy Bubble) nor Rockhopper Lad's holo featured Salad Tosser Lord as villian.

5. Abin Quank's holo was released the month after the holo about Entropy Spinach but the month before the holo where the villian was defeated by powerful Sedatives.

And, finally, in December, my (Caliente's) holo was released featuring her defeating the Royal Inquisitor by capturing him in a Giant Net.</span></span>
