Since the current Legion trivia thread is so lengthy, I have been asked to start a new thread so the old one can be locked up and preserved for future generations. This is quite an historic post for me for 3 reasons:

1) I started the thread on the old DC message boards - oh, maybe 3+ years ago - called Legion trivia. That thread also had to be locked due to it's massive size. (Anybody have that saved away?) It really is a privilege to start a new thread devoted to Legion trivia.

2) This is my 1000th post!

3) It was exactly 2 years ago this day that I became a member of Legion World.

So, off we go, creating a new thread devoted to Legion trivia. The first question on this thread is:

There was a story during the Adventure run where Dynamo Boy kicked out all the Legionnaires. Excluding this story, I can think of three Legionnaires who were dishonorably expelled from the Legion. Name them, and tell why they were kicked out.

Star Boy was kicked out for murdering Kenz Nuhor.

Ultra Boy was expelled when his (apparent) criminal record was exposed... all part of his master plan!

Dream Girl quit (but was not expelled) when she revealed she joined the Legion by a trick.

The Murran spies (Blackout Boy, Size Lad, & Magnetic Kid--no relation to Pol Krinn) joined under false pretenses and were presumably expelled when exposed.

Command Kid was expelled when he lost his power (a possession demon, I think).

Chameleon Boy was expelled when he was sentenced to Takron-Galtos for his disastrous mission to Khundia... or was that just a suspension?

And, of course, Nemesis Kid joined at the same time as Karate Kid, Projectra, and Ferro Lad--but was expelled when his treachery was uncovered.

I was thinking of Star Boy and Ultra Boy...and one other. I really was thinking of only long-term Legionnaires. I'm not sure if Command Kid was expelled or not - but it certainly wasn't dishonorably, since he was possessed. I don't recall Cham ever being expelled. Likewise, was Nemesis Kid ever expelled? I'm not sure there was time for that in the story, although he certainly must have been at some point.

Anyway, Calybos, you are still missing one long-term Legionnaire who was definitely given the boot.

Wasn't Colossal Boy expelled during the LSV story?

Yes! He was the third one - all three of these expulsions were shown on-panel. Calybos got 2 of them, so he's up.

Okay... What's the homeworld of planetary champion Xera (one of the captives of the Universo Project)? It's been seen several times and visited by Legionnaires.

She was an evil tyrant who was ultimately defeated by Night Girl who, along with her fellow Subs, was trying out for Legion membership.
