Thought I'd do a Titan's version of IB's LEgionnaire Pair Ups thread.

It goes like this: the first poster gives two Titans, and the next poster recalls an instance when those two interacted. If they can't think of a particular instance, they could also give something connecting these two - something deeper than "They're both female" or "They both have white in their costumes", of course. It's kind of a walk down memory lane.

Then the poster who answered gets to post another pair of Titans for the next poster to recall something about. Posters can be as nostalgic as they want to be

OK, let's get started with the first pair:


Jericho & Kole

There was a scene where Jericho said goodbye to Kole before leaving for Tamaran, not knowing that he would never see her again.

Next: Raven and Troia

Okay, the scene that comes to mind is Raven trying to get Donna impregnated with Trigon's seed.


Next: Wally & Jesse

The scene where, while running together, Wally offers to quit the Titans so Jesse won't feel like a second-string speedster on the team.

Next: Starfire & Cyborg

Starfire & Cyborg are the two "former" Titans that begin putting together the current team along with Gar.

Damage & Arsenal

Damage going to the Native American reservation, where Roy initially grew up, to deal with things.

Red Star and Kid Flash (Wally)

Wally's continuing mistrust of "that commie" Leonid was an ongoing sub plot.

Donna & Dick

Dick was the one who got Donna out of her fantasy in the Titans/JLA crossover.

Next: Argent and Atom

Argent was the one who convinced Atom into not only continuing their team of Titans, but also encouraged a membership drive. (The team, of course, went under seven issues later anyway).

Next: Bumblebee and Speedy

Bumblebee and Speedy fought side-by-side against Mr. ESPer/Captain Calamity in the mission that gave birth to Titans West.

NEXT: Duela Dent and Phantasm

Both had "issues" with their parents profession


NEXT: Captain Marvel Jr. & Changeling

Both were members of Gar's short-lived Titans West revival.

NEXT: Arsenal & Changeling

both had relationships with psychotic super villains

NEXT: Mal & Donna Troy

Both of them have gotten married, right?

Next: Mirage and Damage

Mirage and Damage were members of Arsenal's ill-fated band of Titans at the end of Wolfman's run.

Next: Aqua Girl & Golden Eagle

ok, i'll try another

the easy pairing of Aqua Girl and Golden Eagle is: Aqua Lad was present at both of their deaths

NEXT: Robin I and Kid Flash II

both 'quit' these identities as Titans at the same time.

Dick spent half a year uncostumed B4 becoming Nightwing, while Wally became KF only for Crisis.. his next TT appearance was as the Flash.

next: Raven and Bumblebee

Raven rescued Bumblebee from Cyborg's fantasy prison

NEXT: Hawk and Mal Duncan/Herald

OKAY, fine.
Hawk and the Herald went into an outer level of the afterlife, with a re-constituted Titans West, in a Hawk & Dove Annual.

NEXT: Raven and Lillith.

Both served as the mystical empath of the team (both with diabolical realtives as well) during their stints.

NEXT: Dove 1 & Changeling

Dove 1 and Changeling founded Titans West

NEXT: Cyborg and Mal Duncan

Mal helped "download" Cyborg's soul into the Omegadrome.

Next: Kole and Starfire

Conflicts with their own family members led both to meet and join the TT and their teammates eventually helped them resolve those conflicts.

NEXT: Roy & Damage

Roy helped clear Damage's DEO arrest warrants.

NEXT: Starfire and Wally West

both were in love with Dick Grayson.

just joking! both drew theirv identities from and were extremely respectful of their parents, and of the legacies placed upon them (in Wally's case, from Barry).

NEXT: Lilith and Donna

Both have had their personal histories affected by the Crisis. Lilith was supposed to have been the daughter of a goddess and Donna was Diana's sister, but these were all retconned out.

Next: Tempest and Argent

Tempest and Argent both had significant roles helping Superman against the Millenium Giants.

Also, they were both asked by their familes to choose between family & the Titans: they chose differently.

Next: Raven and Donna Troy

how about- Raven was mistaken for one of the Titan seeds by Sparta and her hunter when they were looking for Donna.
