This is another version of the "Pick Your Legion Team" thread on here.

The game is very simple. You have to pick a situation/crime/LSH team for either a version of the League of Super Assassins, the Legion of Super-Villains or the Fatal 5, and then the next person picks a 5/6-member team to go and deal with it, and then adds a new one.

The missions can be serious, silly, or basically anything you can come up with. You can use any villains when picking your team, but try to stay in the same continuity within your team itself.

i'll go first

The Dark Man is out to create a new League of Super-Assassins. He wants to utilize their skills to invade Khundia. Pick the 6 villains he would brainwash/persuade/hire to be his assassins.

Hm... tough...

Chameleon Chief - his powers of disguise would be perfect. He can take the form of a pretty Khundian woman and seduce all of the top Khundian warlords into killing each other or doing whatever the Dark Man wants them to do, plus he has the ability to make a clean getaway

Saturn Queen - or for that matter, all he has to do is use aturn Queen's hypnotic abilities to achieve the same effect, and she can wipe out all memory of her being there

Ol-Vir - this guy is VERY easily swayed, and I doubt any Khund will be able to stand against a Daxamite. Sure, he's not the most subtle, but it'd be great to have him in reserve

Nemesis Kid - the perfect man to use to achieve supremacy in the Khund battle arenas or to use as an assassin

Mist Master - another villain who can sneak in, do the job and get out unnoticed. The Dark Man's brainwashed him once, and he can easily do it again

Emerald Empress - it would be difficult to brainwash her, but he can still talk her into helping him out with her nigh omnipotent Eye - for a price, of course

Next: Now to take the Dark Man's plan a step further. While he's working on covertly conquering Khundia, he's decided to gather six more villains to form the backbone of his future army. Whic six does he choose to be his future top generals/fighters?

Dark Army

Titania, for all her strength, she's been the most consistent in following his orders.

Radiation Roy might be a coward, but his abilities are ripe for Dark Man's genetic exploitation and can affect a wide array of foes. Perfect for clipping motions, or attacks from the rear.

Mist Master is a perfect leader for infiltration and secret attacks, besides being already primed to respond to Dark Man.

Black Mace is a classic enforcer whose strength and weapon can take point in any assault.

Garak of the Glow, like most Khunds, is easily pushed into war, and his Emerald brainwashing already reveals a susceptible mind. His power field - in both its raw force and techno-disruptive aspects - will serve an army well.

Sun Emperor has the charisma and ferocious flame powers to lead the armies to victory; his psychotic bent makes him open to Dark Man's suggestions.

NEXT: The Dark Man makes moves no one can predict. He needs to hire 6 villains to act independently for the following operations:
#1) to go into the Bgztl buffer zone with special equipment and bring back a sample of 'limbo'
#2) to get a date with a Legion Academy student (up to the villain to pick his/her target)
#3) for a failed assassination attempt on Ambassador Relnic on Weber's World (it has to look good though)
#4) for a sample of Dominator gene-manipulation plant technology on Elia
#5) the Zoraz suit from the Legion armory on Earth
#6) someone as a front-person to hire all these stooges so nothing can be traced back to the Dark Man

Yikes!

1) NEUTRAX - I first thought of Phantom Lad, but then Neutrax has the brains and we all know he'll follow the DM

2) SPIDER GIRL - this job is right up her alley

3) SILVER SLASHER - nobody will even suspect that she faked the whole thing

4) MICRO LAD - his powers make him one of the best choices

5) BENN PARES - the master thief is always ready

6) DOYLE BRANDE - he's obscure enough that nobody will ever suspect his involvement

Next: The Dark Man is looking to expand his army, and decides to borrow from other timelines and dimensions. Which six reboot or 21st century villains does he recruit?

CHRONOS will make recruiting from any timeline a lot easier.

LUTHOR has the genius and ruthlessness to overcome any opposition.

CAPTAIN NAZI has powers that rival a Daxamite and takes orders well.

LADY SHIVA will come to the future for the sheer pleasure of increasing her killing arts.

STAR SAPPHIRE has the cosmic power and warrior skill of the Zamarons, making her the equal of any Green Lantern or Darkstar.

BLACKFIRE, the Tamaran warlord, has burned her legend across the Vegan system with her viciousness, scheming, ambition, beauty and irresistable starbolts.

LAZON - he's deadly because you won't be able to see him coming

ABSORBANCY BOY - remember him? Hey, with the ability to borrow any power by absorbing residual energy, he can be pretty versatile

QUICKSAND - she makes a good bodyguard/assassin

LADY MEMORY - she played havoc with Mon-el's mind once. She can definitely do it again.

GRIMBOR THE CHAINSMAN - all he really needs to be truly effective is the element of surprise

CHARMA - a little bit of resurrection and some slight modification of her powers to turn her into her reboot version, and we have a killer on our hands

[b]Next: The Dark Man is looking to expand his armies even more. Pico one villain each to act as recruiters to the following planets:

1) Titan, homeworld of the telepaths

2) Bgztl; the inhabitants' phasing powers make them ideal spies and assassins

3) Imsk (they're just as useful as the people from Bgztl)

4) Daxam (a peaceful world, but surely they have some bad eggs too)

5) Zerox (even a handful of magicians can make a huge difference)

6) Durla (the Durlans can be very useful if handled right)

Drafting for the Dark:
1) Titan - Mystelor, formerly of the Taurus Gang, maintains a sweet innocence and telepathic prowess that will seduce Titanians into following.

2) Bgztl - Quanto formerly of the Taurus Gang can go just as immaterial as phantoms and his bright personality is a natural for bringing in recruits.

3) Imsk - Micro Lad, as a leader of the Imsk rebels, is gung-ho for this assignment.

4) Daxam - Roxxas, Daxamite leader of the White Triangle, wants to head back and rally the troops.

5) Zerox - Apollo, formerly of Evillo's Devil's Dozen, is sure to get the women anyway.

6) Durla - Chameleon Kid has been waiting for a cause to fight for and a person to name him the Durlan representative.

NEXT: Death & Consequences! In battle against the Legion, before the hordes of Khundia and the United Planets, the unthinkable happens: the Dark Man lays dead at the hands of a Legionnaire. Khundia praises the Legion's decisive blood-thirt, whereas the United Planets has begun to see their Legion in a slightly different light. The Science Police are assigned to investigate the death alongside an independent Gil'Dishpan team. Pick 6 villains who would want to take advantage of events to paint the Legion in a negative light, either through the investigation, the media, or the Khundish empire support.

The Slanderous Six!

MICRO LAD - he wants to push his political agenda and get back at the Legion at the same time

NEUTRAX would see this as the perfect opportunity to help destroy the Legion

ESPER LASS still hates the Legion with a vengeance for not admitting her into their ranks

BRAINIAC 4 would use this as a first step in her own plans to take control of the Dark Man's vast empire and continue what he started, with the assistance of SATURN QUEEN , who can use her hypnotic abilities to slowly take control of top UP officials.

Finally, CHAMELEON CHIEF would throw some monkey wrenches into the investigation with his duplicating abilities.

Next: Now that the Dark Man's out of the way, some of the greatest criminal minds in the galaxy want to take over what he started! Brainiac 4 is one of them, having fled from the postboot Legion's universe. She already has Saturn Queen and the Emerald Empress by her side; so which six villains does she recruit next?

Brainiac 4's Circle of Sirens

Since she's already got Emerald Empress and Saturn Queen - some strong-willed women - to serve her plans, it looks like Brainiac 4 could be planning to overtake the universe through force-of-mind femme fatales.

Hmmm...

ESPer Lass is definitely looking for a place to shine.

Mystelor would need to be pulled from limbo, but her telepathy is an essential support.

Taka Aires of Titan might be a little senior, but she's primed to help Saturn Queen.

Charma would love to help takeover the galaxy, at least for the men.

Hagga of Orando was killed pre-boot but maybe in this day & age, this old witch still survives.

Lady Memory will help, if only to drive Talok VIII back to the old ways.

NEXT: Boys will be boys! Brainiac 4's gathering has caught the attention of all the wrong guys. Never one to back down from a challenge, Khundish cyborg Firefist gathers 6 villainous men to take the fight to Brainiac 4. Pick who would answer his macho call.
