This is a reboot of an old thread I remember from around here, and since the thread starter isn't posting here anymore I thought I'd reboot it, if you will.

It goes like this: the first poster gives two Legionnaires, and the next poster recalls an instance when those two interacted. If they can't think of a particular instance, they could also give something connecting these two - something deeper than "They're both female" or "They both have white in their costumes", of course. It's kind of a walk down memory lane.

Then the poster who answered gets to post another pair of Legionnaires for the next poster to recall something about. Posters can be as nostalgic as they want to be

Okay, first pair:

Kinetix

KINETIX and XS: The two gals went after Lori Morning and brought her a piece of birthday cake after Lori fled her own party (Except for every old man in the Adventure era, some people just HATE it when they get de-aged).

COSMIC BOY

Cosmic Boy and Star Boy:

There was a scene with those two during the last part of the GDS, where they used their powers in combination to take out one of Darkseid's mindless minions.

Saturn Girl and Shrinking Violet:

Imra and Vi worked together to infiltrate an old White Triange warehouse, following Triad Neutral's beating by them. With all the powerful Legionnaires off on missions, it was up to them, XS, and Brainy to tend to the investgation and monitoring of Lu.

DREAM GIRL and QUISLET

Quislet once busted Dream Girl out at a club dancing with some bohunk who was most assuredly not Star Boy.

Gates and Saturn Girl

Saturn Girl had Gates teleport the two of them into the head ship of the Titan fleet to try and talk down the impending second Braal/Titan war. They also teleported together to help Kid Q, Cos & color-changing Monstress at the Time Museum.

Light Lass tells Blok to attack Organus at Medicus One. Organus gets a biofeedback from trying to feed on Blok. Timber Wolf got a new face..

Timber Wolf and Phantom Girl were among the Legionnaires who went to Seeris at the end of the Adventure Run.

Next: (bending the rules a bit) Shvaughn Erin and Saturn Girl

Saturn Girl's postboot wedding, where Shvaughn Erin intervened with the terrible news that Cosmic Boy was still in a coma, Imra animating his body. Shvaughn claimed to be Imra's friend and a great admirer and was trying to coax her into accepting reality.

Next: Sun Boy and Polar Boy

Delirious Sun Boy recalls walking down the street with Polar Boy and being mocked by some passing women.

Matter-Eater Lad and Dawnstar

I haven't read any issue where those two appeared side by side, but both of them were among the Legionnaires who were sent to Earth to help out against the Dominators.

Next: Bouncing Boy and Invisble Kid

Bouncing Boy and Invisible Kid were two of the eight Legionnaires still free during the Outlaw Legionnaires story, trying to rescue their comrades and wreck Universo's scheme.

Next: Projectra and Saturn Girl

Jeckie and Imra were once "captured" by their fellow Legionnaires in the last story of the Action run (which also debuted Imra's famous hot pink bikini) in a test to see if Jeckie would break down as a computer had predicted.

Next: XS and Gates

Alongside Leviathan, XS and Gates fought the postboot Holdur and Quicksand in an issue of Showcase.


Matter-Eater Lad and Duo Damsel

These two were among the Legionnaires who were held in the Super Stalag of Space.

Lightning Lad and Chameleon Boy

Both Lightning Lad and Chameleon Boy were among the few Legionnaires present to induct Karate Kid, Jeckie, and others into the Legion and then deal with the subsequent sabotage by Nemesis Kid.

Next: Invisible Kid and Element Lad

These two were among the Legionnaires whom Emerald Vi turned into frogs.

Sun Boy and Saturn Girl

Sun Boy disguised as a male version of Saturn Girl during Jeckie's breakdown test.

Both were inducted after helping Superboy and Cham infiltrate the LSV Academy.

Were two of the five Legionnaires on active duty to battle the LSV in the second part of the Adventure era Adult Legion story. Polar Boy fought Beauty Blaze & Element Lad faced Chemical King, if I recall correctly.

Magnetic Kid & Lightning Lad

Magnetic Kid and Lightning Lad were both lounging around Legion HQ in LSH #45(v3), in which Mag Kid's away team returned home thanks to Phantom Girl's jokes keeping them awake.

Next: Saturn Girl and Triplicate Girl/Duo Damsel

They were both members of "the Conspiracy" against the Time Trapper/Glorith.
