well, admittedly, I root for underdogs...I like to think that there is a way that Invisible Kid can upset Superboy...with his brain. He knows that Superboy has at least w2 weaknesses - Magic, Kryptonite, Red Sun...so what if Lyle finds a way to turn the room into red sun room, thus weakening Kal? so Underdog can win.

Smart kid that he is, I figure he's got a chunk of K with him, not enough to cause injury, just enough to weaken Kal.

In a deal brokered by Lyle (who knows he'll have to face Supes sooner or later), Element Lad agrees to whip up some green K in exchange for help with the more complicated elemental forms he'll need for his own fights.

Supes easily detects an invisible Lyle, flies in close to pin him for the easy win, and gets a face full of the green stuff. It's Dark Knight Returns, both decades before (for Supey) and a century after the fact.

Let's see - you guys had I-Kid beating Sensor, then Kal-El. I just don't get it, the kid's no Batman. I'll cast my vote for Wildfire but I don't think it will mean anything.

Didn't E-Lad already beat Chemical King in this tournament? Element Lad wins again.
