is anyone getting any of the 'KINGDOM COME' action figures, that come out next week ??

from the pictures i've seen of them, the detail looks great, they've really captured the artwork of ALEX ROSS !!

i'll probably get the SUPERMAN and WONDER WOMAN figures, first ..... but i think i did read you can buy the first 4 in a special boxset ??

so depending on the price, i'll have to see ....

I'm definitely getting the Captain Marvel figure that comes out later this year... haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going to get any of the others...

I really wanted to get these when I first saw them but don't know if I can afford to now. And Wizard has a mailaway offer for a special Red Arrow to go with the set. Another temptation I'm trying hard to resist. Maybe I can pick them up cheap on eBay later on.

Did these actually come out this week? If so, my comic shop has some 'splainin' to do.

they were DATED as coming out on Wednesday ....

The first set had a release date of July 16. They should have been out Wednesday. The next set, consisting of Kid Flash, Red Robin, Shazam and Batman is due out September 10.

so do we know anymore on these 'missing' figures ???

Not sure Matthew. I haven't heard anything official about them being late but I haven't been to my store this week. Probably won't get to go until next Wednesday at the earliest. But I'll be looking for them there.

i checked the DC DIRECT MB ... they have been put back 3 weeks !!!

I got to see them up close at the DCD booth at San Diego. They look good, but so far I think I'll only be getting the GL and Red Robin figures.

I saw Red Arrow at another booth as well. It's basically a repainted Green Arrow figure.

i just checked E-BAY they have quite a few LOTS for these figures .... but hopefully they will be out in the UK next week ???

the boxes looked pretty good, with the cover artwork as the backgrounds ....

Have you seen the figs for sets 2 and 3? Gary sent me the DC Direct catalog from the con and it has images of the 3 sets. I'll dig it out and post a pic of 2 and 3 later on if anyone wants.

i've just phoned my comic store, and they DID have the KINGDOM COME figures !!! but they sold out of them all !!!

damn !!! i want them even more now !!!

they said they may get some more next week .....

i'm surprised they made a second WONDER WOMAN figure [ it does look fab !!! ] but, they could have made a different character ???

I got the complete set as well as Batgirl & Joker last Wednesday.

I haven't taken the time to open any of them up yet, but they look damn good in the boxes. I may just leave them there for a change.

Also, I saw the upcoming KC figures at San Diego too. Deadman is incredible! I wish the Legion had played a bigger role in the story. I'd love to own some figures based on that one panel appearance.

I got my Red Arrow in the mail today!

I still don't want to take any of them out of their boxes. Which (as anyone who has seen my room) is totally unlike me.

it is *amazing* how they made the figures look almost exactly like how they appeared in the series. Part of it is the lighting in these photos, but damn these figures are impressive.

HEY!! which Wizard issue did you get for Red Arrow??? I want HIM!!! I plan to buy Flash ( he looks sooo cool!) and I am getting Hawkman....so monstrous....others blah...I am debating myself if I should get Kid Flash. Green Lantern...hmmm hmmm....$$$... can't go over my budget limitation. oh....

BUmping....which Issue of Wizard can I find to get that Red Arrow?!?

If you can't get a copy let me know. I've still got my coupon and I'll gladly mail it to you. I just can't justify another set of figures right now with the new house set to be ready next month.

LL - don't worry. I have a friend who will give me the envelope - we work at the same place so no problem. Good thing he collects comics! *whew*
