It was mentioned in the Top 100 comics thread that there hasn't been much discussion of this book in our forum. So, let's discuss it!

I've really been enjoying it. I like seeing the little hints and nods that Gaiman throws in. I love that it took me a couple of issues to realize the Rojhaz is Steve Rogers. I love the endless debate I've read elswhere over who Virginia Dare is supposed to be. I really love the art. And I think the pacing has been spot on.

Other thoughts?

I haven't read an issue except for the first one. This is one of those series that I'll sit down and read at one time when it's finished.

The first issue was good and I didn't realize that Rojhaz was supposed to be our good Captain.

I bumped up the previous thread that was started up about 1602. It's true that there hasn't been a lot of discussion, but there was some... (there was also some in a previous "back from the comic book store" kinda thread I think ...)

Btw, the latest ish with the X-Men storming castle Doom was really good -- the high point of the book. We also get some part of the reason for all of this happening (finally!). The appearance of Thor and the revelation of the "weapon" was most unexpected. I liked how the old man thought of his use of the weapon as damning himself -- and as a pagan aritfact, it makes sense that he'd see it that way.

And the FF! Good deal smile

Hey guys, has anyone been reading the 1602 book they're doing with Angela for Secret Wars? The first issue was pretty funny.
