Remember these?
While searching for my MUTANT X collection (turns out I'd sold it on eBay), I came across my MGN collection...
NEW MUTANTS
X-MEN: GOD LOVES, MAN KILLS
DAZZLER THE MOVIE
BLACK WIDOW: THE COLDEST WAR
REVENGE OF THE LIVING MONOLITH
THE AVENGERS: EMPEROR DOOM
THE ALADDIN EFFECT
REVENGE OF THE LIVING MONOLITH
THE SENSATIONAL SHE-HULK
SPIDER-MAN: HOOKY
CLOAK & DAGGER
THE INHUMANS
My issue of Dave Cockrum's THE FUTURIANS has always been with my regular collection. I reread it not long ago and it remains fabulous.
I can remember The New Mutants being good and God Loves, Man Kills being excellent. Dazzler The Movie was cheeky, cheesy fun, iirc. Can't remember much about the rest. How 'bout you?
Anyway, I've decided to reread 'em all, starting with X-Men: GL,MK.

I didn't get that one. It's a good read I take it?
God Loves, Man Kills held up very well I think. Particularly cool was Magneto's confronting of Stryker. Seems like this was a prelude to things that came later, like the Mutant Massacre and Magneto's joining the X-Men.
Byrne's She-Hulk GN didn't hold up as well for me. This was before his way-funny take on her that started in # 1 of her second series.

THE DEATH OF CAPTAIN MARVEL by Starlin is a classic. I'm always a little uneasy whenever people try to revisit Mar-Vell. His recent "return" initially had me all acringe... I was actually glad he turned out to be Click Here For A Spoilera Skrull.

I loved, loved LOVED X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills. It's still the best X-Men movie ever made, imo. (it just happened to be on paper)
Also Alien Legion: A Grey Day to Die. Back when I was young enough to be moved and shocked when regular members of a book were killed off. (and it happened plenty in this book)
Star Slammers by Walt Simonson: Man, that's some stellar work! I still remember how excited and inspired I was reading it the first time.
Doctor Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment: While I believe it came out in 1990 and might not qualify, it's probably my favorite Dr. Doom story of all time.

I really miss straight to graphic novels stories. As a kid I thought it had more power. It was truly an event. The tpb stuff now kills that.
Imagine King's Dark Tower series by Jae Lee coming out a GN (each mini a GN that is).
Doctor Strange & Doctor Doom: Triumph and Torment is probably my favorite as well. Mignola art right?
Lots of Marvel has so much filler right now. Would love to see these star creative teams put out a GN. Screw the mini!
