Anybody getting this? I like what little I've read of Carey's LUCIFER, and Mike Perkins is an excellent artist... I loved him both as an inker for Butch Guice on RUSE and as a penciler for KISS KISS, BANG BANG while he was at CG. I skipped this for some reason on my preorders, but intend to give the first issue a look-thru at the CBS this weekend.

I liked it. Didn't one character make a reference that they were all descended from Salem witches? Since seven seems to be an important number to them, are we looking at a new Salem's Seven?

I haven't decided what I think of this so far. It's not too bad, but I think I'll need another issue or two to decide

I know what you mean, Cru... #1 was decent, love the art, but it hasn't really grabbed me yet. I'll pick up #2 this weekend and see if it doesn't make up my mind.

The Pulse has an interview with the penciler Mike Perkins. Lotsa yummy previews of his finished pencils, and color cover previews also.
