Hey Legion Worlders,

I am using comics as a basis for my statistics class porject and could use some help.

Basically, the plan is to count the number of words and panels per page in randomly selected DC Comics from the 40s to today, to see how/if the number has changed, and then to compare that to cover price to calculate a "reading value."

I could use help collecting data from anyone with a largish stash off DC comics from the 40s and 50s, if you're willing to help.

More critically, however, I'm looking for a resource that has, or estimates, the number of DC comics published each year. I need that infor to calculate how many individual comics published each year that I'll need to collect data from, in order to arrive at a statistically significant average.

Anyone know where I can find DC publishing data?
