Comics Continuum\'s Justice League Animated update today featured the following:

Quote
Booster Gold will be appearing in the next season of Cartoon Network's Justice League animated series, The Continuum has learned.

An announcement from Cartoon Network about the third season and a likely title change to Justice League Unlimited is expected this month.

Booster Gold is one of numerous DC heroes to appear in the third season. Others confirmed by The Continuum include Green Arrow, Captain Atom, Black Canary, Atom, Red Tornado, The Question, Hawk, Dove and Firestorm.

"Starcrossed," the three-part finale to the second season, is targeted for this summer. The third season will kick off with an episode titled "Initiation."

Look for more Justice League news soon here in The Continuum.
So, will he be sporting his Legion flight ring and Brainy's forceshield belt? Or was that retconned out?

Let's hope so. But with animated continuity, it's hard to say.

Well, they're not afraid to use the Legion in the comics based on the cartoon so maybe there is hope.

I'm hoping for a three-part season finale with the Legion in it, but I guess that might be a bit too much to hope for too early.

Interesting.

I wonder why they chose Booster as the "spotlight" hero to lead off the announcement? I would have thought that Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Atom would all have better name recognition.

Considering I don't think Booster currently has the Legion technology anymore, I doubt they'll burden the animated character's backstory by trying to explain it that way. They'll likely just say he has a high-tech suit (unless the future tech is a part of the story).
