Loved the show, just like always. The designers seem like another cast of interesting characters.
The assignment was really fun....I always think about what I would do.
I agree with who won and who was OUT.

Yay, finally something to watch on wednesdays! Sad to see a San Franciscoer go, but her dress was uninspiring and the daisy duke underwear was...odd. That basket hat guy is Ca. Ray. Zee! I like snobby menswear guy, nice guy Barbie maker, Red head momma of 5, and Bonnie Dominguez (who's name is fun to say).

Outfits I liked best:
Laura's Deco coat Michael's coffee filter dress Kayne's red-bodiced dress with trailing streamers
Like many others, I am surprised that Keith won -- the blue dress does look good, but using sheets in an INNOVATION challenge? (Is Austin Scarlett sitting at home yelling Shuck this! at the television screen?)
Who I'm rooting for: everyone. Hey, make the judges work for their money.

These judges like it when you can't tell that something was made from odd materials. Like last year, when Chloe made a cool dress for Grace, out of the clothes off her back. Plus, I think it must be hard to choose a winner when there are several good options. Richard Best's dress looked like he chose those materials on purpose, without having to madly tear through the apartment.
I do think it's interesting/ironic that the rock-n-roll guy thought that everybody else's work looked "remedial and student-y" or something, yet he was second to LAST place.
I'm rooting for Laura Bennett. I love how sort of arrogant and fabulous she is. I love that she has 5 kids yet won't be caught dead in sweats or the mini-van. She and/or her husband must have plenty of $ but I don't know. I love that she has a giant formal painting of herself.

I also love that she's older and has a super flat chest, but she's still gorgeous.

my favs were the winner, Robert's cute litte dress and Michel's dress-though it did look alot like Chole's skating outfit from PR2.
Laura's coat just screamed her and if she keeps it she could go far.

I heart Robert.
Laura is Fabulous... and Malan is HELLA scary! Cerep me out why don't you!
Vincent's half a valium away from a breakdown.
Top 3, Robert, Keith, Laura, with crazy-necked Jeffrey as the wildcard since they always seem to stick someone unconventional in at the end.
My pick to take it all is Laura, based on the message it would send if someone with 5 kids, and an alternate career can bring it on and create some kick-ass designs.
Wendy Pepper, done right!

Wow interesting... that might explain the major contradiction in what was said during the auditions versus what was said during the first episode.

I'm trying to figure this out...maybe those designs were the ones Keith collaborated on? Maybe they were blatant rip offs? We'll see, eh?
rtvu2, that message board or website or whatever had some interesting characters commenting! Thanks for the link to some good entertainment.

Sketch, i could buy that if all the outfits come from the same designer, but when its three different designers it smacks of something else to me.

I just have one sentence for this season thus far. I love Laura right now to the point that, if I were a straight guy, I would be hopping a plane to New York to steal her from her wildly successful husband.
White. A blank page or canvas. His favorite. So... many... possibilities.

Kayne did the prefect pagent gown. It has Miss Universie written all over it.
Uli's dress was beautiful. Flowy and very greek goddess.
I liked Laura's white sparkly number but it was a bit too low key.
Vincent needs to go. First, he can't remember Angela's name. Then he precedes to frezze out Angela the whole time they were supposed to be working togethere. He already showed what a sham and drama queen he is and this is his second time in the bottom.
And then comes Milan. I don't know if I am supposed to feel sorry for him or not believe a single word he says. It's still early so we will see the true 'villian' emerge soon.

It did seem like Angela came across as something of a b**yotch to Vincent. I mean, some of the things she said would have made me want to ask her to stay 3 feet away from me, too. I know he's crazy, too, so that doesn't help. I was surprised that the judges liked his dress as much as they did. Those weird shoulder sleeve thingies were way too distracting. Of course, we Legion fans might think of that as the perfect dress for Glorith, if it came in violet.
My wife and I can't decide if Malan was cool or weird. She says she feels sorry for him. I mean, I suppose his mum hurt his little artist feelings when he was a lad. Being second to be eliminated probably doesn't help that relationship. She probably tried to get him to go out and play with the football....
It's perfect that Kayne should win this competition. At least he didn't take the attitude that this was in the bag. He really tried and he certainly appealed to what the pageant girl liked.

Vincent is certifiable. Had I been Angela I would have made myself much more of a force to be reckoned with because after all, regardless of whether or not it was his design, her neck was potentially going to be noosed as well.
That being said, it's ridiculous that she didn't have sketches... what was that about?
Poor Malan... my heart broke a little for him at the end.

Chloe didn't sketch either. I suppose they sort of make notes of their ideas or something. Of course, being ...Sketch Lad....I can't relate to those who don't sketch.

So what do we think? Lots of great pieces this episode, with the one eyesore being Angela. Who gets the boot next week? Hate to say it, but I'm thinking it's Kayne

I don't think it's Kayne. The conversation Robert and Kayne were having about the situation in next week's previews was too heated. If Kayne had actually been the one in trouble, Robert would have been a lot kinder and/or sympathetic to his face. From what I gathered, that interchange between the two of them had a very "Girl, can you believe what that bey=otch just did?!? Mm mmm, I know he DIT-ENT..." vibe to it.
I really like both of them. And I really really REALLY like Robert in a tank top.
On the other hand, Laura is losing steam for me. She needs to get away from the fur and feathers.
Alison is my Daniel Vosovic pick for this year. Unassuming at first, but really picking up steam by the end.
And watch out for Jeffrey. His dress rocked this week. I can see him taking Santino's indie rock thing and really running with it, since he seems to have the taste level and craftsmanship to pull it off better than Santino.
Michael could surprise as well. I'm still loving his coffee filter dress.
At the moment, I think fashion week is too close to call. What a talented and diverse bunch of designers this year!
Angela and Vincent both need to be dumped like a psycho ex. And I think the editors are setting Keith up to get the boot next week.

Best Project Runway quotes ever:
"I didn't STEAL the b***ch's dye!!!"
"Where the HELL is my chiffon?!?!?"
"It's a m*****f****** walkoff."
"Designers, look out for Andrae. He's our little lamb!"
"If you gonna cry, you gotta cry and cut!"
"Make it work."
"It looks like Barefoot Appalachian Lil'Abner Barbie."

"Where's Andre?" (if I remembered Santino's whole "Andre and Tim at Red Lobster" mini play, I'd quote that whole thing! )
