PPS – I’m pretty positive, but a US means that if the underdog beats the spread, it counts in our favor, correct? I’ve got to say, this was the hardest week yet to make picks. I had a few ideas for US and LP but at the end of the day had to go with my gut. Spreads as big as ten points this close to the playoffs? Very risky, Las Vegas.

Yeah, if the underdog beats the spread, you get 2 points, 3 if the dog wins. Oddly enough, I haven't been in the position to award just the two points yet--it's always been an outright win when someone's pick comes thru!
On the other hand, if one picks the dog as their LP and the dog beats the spread but loses, the player still gets the 4 points--I don't think that's happened yet either!
This week could tests those trends, mayhaps.
And I'd be incredibly surprised if I ever have the opportunity to award those 8 points, Des! No one's gotten more than two right so far!
And don't forget, guys, the Washington/Chicago game is Thursday night on the (ugh!) NFL Network, so I need your picks by 8 p.m. tomorrow!
