Man, I was exhausted! Later, superhot Mary J. Blige perfomed and then BEYONCE and a varitable HAREM of beautiful babe dancers performed.

A lot of other great stuff happened too, but my memory focused on the beautiful women of the past year. I thought it was a great show, which I'm sure seems obvious.

Wow! As soon as I finished making this post, the show was repeated! I JUST watched Madonna and the girls again.

Did I mention that it was FRIGGIN HOT!!!!!!?

i missed that britany thingy, i thought chris rock was funny, but i thought those awards fucking sucked. They were the worst awards show i've seen, and see 50 cent , what the fuck is with him, he wins his third award so he brings up the other 2 up on stage and sets them up on the podium. What is with rappers and the endless bragging about getting shot, hoes and bitches and how much money they got?

Does anyone know if Evanescence won anything or if they were even nominated? Don't have cable anymore so I missed the show. Although I have gotten kinda tired of the 90% rap programming they have.

Oh, btw: from what I understand, it was originally supposed to be Jennifer Lopez, and not Christina. J-Lo had to back out to finish a video, I think, and Christina was a last minute replacement. Poor Ben... I bet he was disappointed

I thought 50 was kinda humble and cute about the whole thing. Maybe he was just drunk? I agree that the whole Pimp thing is outta control in rap right now. As you can tell by my first couple of posts, though, I found many other things about the show quite entertaining.

Again, I agree that all the Big Pimpin' rap videos are tiring. I actually watch VH1 more than MTV, but I'm 37.

More like Shock Lesbian action. We all know that both Madonna and Britney like to be shocking at these performances, and Christina is just...dirty... so it's obvious that the kissing was just for that. I don't think I mentioned that Madonna also tongue kissed Christina, but they didn't show that whole exchange because after the Britney kiss, they cut to Justin's reaction. He just had a kinda blank look on his face. It must be weird to watch your ex-girlfriend, a superhot popstar, kiss a pop Icon, right in front of you. Celebrities and their problems!

Britney and Christina were on the Mickey Mouse Club tv show together when they were kids. They were friends all along, and were always bugged by how the media portrayed them as rivals. This, of course is information I got from watching tv, so obviously, I don't know first hand.

I've never really been a big fan of these younger pop stars. I appreciate what they go through for their fame, and they are talented (despite how popular it is to knock them for that), but I guess they were just too young when they debuted. It's weird because I really like Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson, and they're the same age. Mariah was that age when she started, too. Love Mariah, still. I've ALWAYS loved Madonna.

i thought brittany's singing was fucking terrible, and another thing, i cant speak for the rest of man, but i dont there is anything attactive about missy elliot coming onstage in baggy fucking clothes, sexy? me thinks not.

I just did the heterosexual disclaimer for the people who may not know me. I find this sometimes needs clarification among Madonna fans. (Heh, Legion fans, too....) I was *definitely* not trying to imply that if anyone is homosexual and loves Madonna, it must be because they wanna be her! I saw the smiley you added, so I know you're just having fun, too, but I did want to clarify what I meant.

I don't think Britney was ever shown again after that performance...

Well, Madonna, Britney and Christina have all been clear about being straight, so this girl-girl kissing would technically be a bi-sexual act, IF we choose to consider tongue kissing a sexual act. The dancing was suggestive, but not raunchy.

Brit's singing was typical for her. I thought she did a cute, campy version of the song, with plenty of breathiness and minor groaning between lines. Generally, I don't care for her voice, either. I thought she sang better, more clearly, in her childhood performances, like StarSearch.

I didn't find Missy to be sexy, either, and I'm sure that wasn't the point of her being there. They needed another groom for the group, I guess. Madonna and Missy must have become friends. They did that Gap commercial together.
