aside from OC, I was watching the TV Food Network Channel and the show is called "Date Plate". As I am watching it now, I was surprised to see the man named Derrick Nelson (he's a cutie! but straight, by the way sorry), anyway, when he was being interviewed, he showed his room full of comics books !!! I caught Doom Patrol, some Indy comics, and I could not make out too. more comics !!!! Yes! Anyone wants to chime in?

According to a friend of mine, Jen Contino, who works for the Pulse website, indy comic Eclipse & Vega will be appearing in an episode of Yes, Dear on CBS this fall.

Oh, and in case you missed it, apparantly they are going to show another Legion comic on the OC on this upcoming week's episode. At least that's what the previews appear to show that our Fox network has been running.

Here's a reversal of this theme some of you may or may not know. Patton Oswalt who appears regulary on CBS' King of Queens wrote JLA: Workweek.

I took a look at JLA: Workweek mostly because of its novelty (being written by a sitcom actor and all), but I bought it and actually enjoyed it quite a bit. First of all, the art was terrific -- but the writing was also surprisingly good, and he seems to actually have a fairly acute understanding of the DCU. I'd probably be interested in checking out anything else Mr. Oswalt might care to write in the future.
