According to this blog entry , the fact that nothing has been mentioned yet about a third season strongly suggests there will not be one.

I'm very unhappy about this. If WB hadn't screwed with the successful formula from the first season, or if they had released DVDs in a timely fashion, maybe the show would have done better.
