That sounds like an excellent idea.
In fact, what do you think: we'll officially retire this thread, and start a brand-new spankin' new security thread with a fresh page one! Seeing as threads with large page counts seem to have a harder time getting people in, we'll see what happens from there.
This way, we can have the three of us meanly rejecting applicants and cooly accepting other ones.

Sorry Princess! Your powers of remembering history are of no use to us! You are rejected!
Please accept this flight belt.
(You're not really rejected of course. I'm just warming up a little. I'll have to ask for that flight belt back though, unless CK says you can keep it.)

Crujeckie can keep it of course, but we need to remember that the less clothes we give her, the less she'll be wearing!

*Choke* The move is official! Seeing as to the uncertainty of leader these days, I was able to wire transfer an enormous amount of money into our account and then buy a new building for the new Security Office! (Of course, I went through the Real Estate Offices of Cobaltus, Jectra, Spiffany, Ester and Greybird, but who cares where that money went?) New digs! This old building, which I'll always love, will become the building dedicated to the bureaucracy and litigation divisions, to take care of all the red tape we tear through. I'm gonna miss it though...lots of memories here, like beating up the Royal Inquisitor with FC, 'creating' Umber right here on my desk with Thora, and using my pretzel/compliment tactics on Harbinger to calm here down one day. I'll be bringing the pretzel machine along with me though.

Well, its back! The original Office of Security Thread! A year and a half ago I started a new one to garner interest and let the old one slip away, becoming a 'Internal Affairs' office in the hopes that it would spark angry sentiment among the bleeding heart liberal posters, but they apparently don't get all nostalgic like posters like myself do and didn't see it! But alas, as a massive security shut-down occurred at the old building (a back-up feature for robbing the pretzel machine), that thread is now lost and I will reopen the original! Why not start a new thread? I'll tell you why! I'm because I'm an elitist and a jokester, and I get giddy with the idea that people will see a 111 page thread and feel the 'aw, now I have to read over one hundred pages of posts' or even better 'what the hell? how did so many posts get put on the new security office' or even best 'what the hell? ANOTHER Cobalt Kid thread?'. Jeepers, I almost feel like Tamper Lad but without the slimy green skin! Security Office back in check--Cobalt Kid, Chief of Security and his assistant Jailbait Lass reporting! Now, all security officers go find the missing Outdoor Miner while I show Lolita the spot where Thora and I concieved Umber... (Original thread = original tone! )

(Shh, Jailbait Lass, don't tell her about the illusionary pretzel machine and the little 'goodies' it creates. She'll love 'em!)

Actually, it works out well. I was going to offer to bring in my design team to give the offices a makeover. Now that the LMBP/New Crusaders adventure is over, I'm in the mood to be domestically creative, and my little Cobie Cakes might as well be on the receiving end (which should be something new for Cobie )

I love to recieve Should we have a whole new design (re: thread) or continue with Silver Age? Perhaps this was a return to our roots before going off in a bold new direction? Certains artifacts of my office will need to be kept (Jailbait Lass's chair, Abin's pretzel maker to mark the Dark Stu Saga, how Umber was born, etc.) but it does get a bit draft in here ever since Sharky decided to put his tank on the roof of the building...

(Hands Jailbait Lass an antiseptic bandage) Viviane, dear, please don't attack the staff. I'm definitely not going for a blood-red color scheme in here. (hands Cobalt an icepack) You can do this yourself, Cobie dear. There are people around

Viviane, this is the Security Office, not Abu Ghraib. We like our security officers and fellow members a whole lot. Stop trying to kill everybody around you. It's a surefire way to lose friends.
