Awright, who would give us the Legion Zombies. Forget "Legion of the Hecked...uh, Darned...uh, Damned", what villian of all the masterminds of the Legion of Super-Foes could give us a rollicking good yarn about the evil (near) dead Legion?
I say evil myxzptlk that showed up back in adventure.
That, or either He Who and Keith Giffen start writing "Lester Spiffany-Master of the Universe".
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

Not a zombie fan here - but Prince Evillo could probably handle a Zombie Legion. For a while....

Mordru has provided one such tale already, and you can read my review of it right HERE: Let\'s Talk Tom & Mary

When I think of a zombie Legion, it's more of a joke - like the bizarro Legion(s). Mordru's zombie Legionnaires were particularly creepy since they were the beloved brought back. We saw the desecration through the other legionnaires' eyes - Projectra reacting to Val, Cos to Pol - and it carried more impact.
A war journalist I heard interviewed described the impersonal nature of seeing a lot of dead people. He described one incident of standing next to a dead man in a hospital after some bombing attack; it was only when the man's brother arrived and started to cry that the reporter himself felt affected. This personal reaction to death - or zombiefication - is more powerful than a bunch of drooling corpses walking around (IMO).
If we're on the verge of a legion massacre in the 3 worlds series, there may be lots of room for zombie Legions in the future.

[groan] I'd be happy to never see anyone zombified/dead/resurrected/whatever again for the next hundred years, personally.
