...what's the first thing you're going to do differently than 2005 (besides dating checks/papers/etc)?

Going to bed at a reasonable hour would probably be a good start.

I am going to try, TRY, to hold my tongue more. The things that fly out of my mouth sometimes over even the stupidest things would make a sailor blush. I am so frustrated with this going into my second year at home taking care of mom and not working outside the home. In 2006 I do not want to be as stir-crazy as I was in 2005.

(What's this going to bed early? The older I get I can't even sleep at night. I tend to stay up till 1, 2, or even 3AM and then am falling asleep on my feet by 2 in the afternoon. I sleep better in naps anymore.)

i'm gonna try that !! on most nights, i'm not going to sleep till about 1.30 - 2.00am, which is far too late, when i have to be up for work at 7am !!

if i generally go to sleep before that, i find that i'm not able to catch up on all the things i like to do !! i don't usually get home from work till about 7.30 - 8.00pm and once we've eaten and settled down for the evening, it's usually around 10pm, so if i wanna watch an episode of a series i'm watching on DVD and then go on the internet, this pretty much takes me up to that LATE time of going to sleep !!

i guess i'm gonna have to just cut back a little, i'd like to be in bed by about 12.30am at the latest ........

Matthew.

That is wonderful Joe-Boy! You are choosing life for the new year and hopefully forever. Every day you get through it your lungs are going to recover and you are going to feel like a new man. Soon food will taste better and your sense of smell will heighten and you will feel the positive changes in your body. Congratulations and best of luck to you! Very brave and important thing you are doing!! Bravo!!!!

Yeah, me too. There ought to be a law. Especially on Monday mornings. Really especially on Jan 2.

Ouch!! hug Archane!!

I don't start back 'til the 9th... thank God. But still, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (so much for that Thursday-is-the-first-night-of-the-weekend mentality), I have to be conscious and in class by 8am.

I'm relatively confident I'll be able to manage that second part but the first... >< Gah! Evil, evil, evil. Outlawed? Yeah... I'd be down with that.

Ive thrown out all my smoking paraphenalia (ok pretty much just the 101 lighters I had in my room) and stocked up on patches...so We'll see how we go.
