It appears I posted one of the first, if not the first, mentions of the Legion World address on LegionPics ... right when it began self-destructing in earnest, with its now being classified "adult." (Due to a derelict Group owner. See the thread in the main Legion section.)

I recognize most of those folks as being LegionPics members, some of them at least semi-regulars.

THAT explains it.

I figured it was the result of an announcement being posted somewhere it hadn't been before.

I also gave a plug yesterday over at the CBR DC Board where their Legion fans post. I don't know if anyone's come by yet though.

Let us now also welcome Dashel to the fold. 14 new members in one day, that's a heck of a jump.

If this keeps up we may set a record.

Uh... it ain't stopping, neither.

At my last count we had 18 new members today which places today second in new members joining, only behind our first official day of July 6 in which 28 joined up. And we still have 7 hours to go, server time, to get another 10 or more members.

It might be apropos for Reep to revive the Legion World Census poll soon... maybe a version 2.0?

Todd mentioned over on DCMB that "calling the roll" would be here. Maybe that contributed?

Plus I am tellin bums at the library they can join for a slight fee. So far I've gotten $5.73 and a half bottle of muscatel.

I went to the zoo and told all the animals.

I checked the close date on Legion World Census Poll #1 and it was July 22nd. Searching the directory, I find that member # 96 (Brin Londo) was the last to join on July 22nd.* So I'll wait till we get close to member # 200 and then maybe I'll rerun LWCP #1 as # 1.2. (# 2 would be a entirely different Poll.)

Go to "directory" at the top of any page. In the Community Directory Search, leave the three entries blank for Displayed Name, Keyword, and Member Status. Then hit Search Members. You'll get a list of all members in the order they joined.

Well, this is pretty cool indeed. Could we all be on here at once, or is there a limit to how many can log on at one time?

We've not set any caps and I don't believe there is any in the software so we could have one hell of an on-line party!
