FINAL TALLY - 17 votes - Poll Closed 7/28/03
Seven Choices.
- The top three plots here could be combined in one epic.
1st place - 53% (9 votes)
- All out war with a large group of villains - A.K.A. the LSV
- Open tryout day for Legion applicants - Always a popular issue, just plain fun for Legion fans.
3rd - 47% (8) - A villainous spy infiltrates the Legion as a new member - If used, hopefully it won’t be too obvious by using Nemesis Kid
4th - 41% (7)
- A Legionnaire goes renegade and is hunted by Legion - “But it was a one-armed man, I tell ya!”
- Legionnaires become imprisoned in a prison for heroes - Time for... Nardo?!
- A reformed villain joins the Legion - Except perhaps in Five Years Later period (I’m not sure,) I don’t think this has ever really happened. It would be somewhat fresh.
7th - 35% (6)
- A Legionnaire faces court-martial - It’s all those damn lawyer shows on TV!
- Legion works with a group/team of villains against a greater menace - I think it’s rarity is part of it’s strong appeal.
- Student days at the Legion Academy - Another perennial favorite, especially with the incarcerated (students.)
29% (5) - A dead Legionnaire revived; Story about an older "adult" Legion future of the current Legion; Secret pact by some Legionnaires to destroy a very dangerous villain
25% (4)- An unknown villain from a Legionnaire's past attacks him/her and the Legion; An expelled Legionnaire joins a villain group; A down time sports competition among the Legionnaires
18% (3) - The Substitutes secretly help the Legion; A Legionnaire becomes psychotic and attacks or conspires against the Legion; Female Legionnaires "revolt" against male Legionnaires; A Legionnaire marriage story
12% (2) - Ghosts of dead Legionnaires haunt Legion; Legionnaires stranded on a barren plane; Hidden stories of the early days of Legion
6% (1) - An evil duplicate of a Legionnaire battles Legion; Legion conducts a tryout competition for the Substitutes and the winner gets to join Legion; Villain hold Legion relatives hostage; Legion in fast-paced race to stop a megabomb
0% (0) - A rigged Legion election; A Legionnaire sustains life changing injuries; Amnesiac or confused Legionnaire adopts a secret new super identity; Gift and/or misuse of miraculous power/technology
