i actually do not like tomatoes.


i worked in tomato fields one summer in high school:

....the smell in the fields of still green tomatoes being harvested, smashed, and rotting, mixed with dust, and bugs...has to be the most gawd aweful smell i have ever encountered.

it beats the smell of day old crap and vomit.

That's a myth, not unlike the snuffaluffagus and the edibility of beets.

Let me tell you all about how fried green tomatoes saved me from starving myself to death after my awful "divorce" back in 1996.

Long story short, I was devestated, forced to move back home at age 28, and refused to eat, or leave my room except to go to work.

Then one day I smelled that smell wafting through the house.
