Maybe next year you can join the Legion of Super-Gamblers trip to Vegas - a half-dozen to a dozen Legion fans meeting for a long weekend. We just had our tenth annual trip in mid-June.

Caliente, the con doesn't get out till 7pm anyways, just tell your train conductor to put more coal in the um...train coal burning thing! Scott, that bites that you have to cancel Vegas! We were hoping you'd get a big jackpot and come to Vegas  Are there any Indian gaming casinos in Yootah?

Oh also, on my cable I have a channel called G4 (they mostly show Star Trek). They have been advertizing that they will be broadcasting from the Con on the 21st.

Friday and the Legion of Superheroes: 4:00-5:00 Bruce Timm Retrospective/Legion of Super Heroes— Warner Bros. Animation president Sander Schwartz introduces a retrospective on the creativity of animation legend Bruce Timm (Batman Beyond, Superman: The Animated Series). Bruce will talk about his 20-year career, screen selected scenes from his body of work, and take part in a Q&A. Immediately following the Timm retrospective, Warner Bros. Animation presents a sneak peek at Legion of Super Heroes, a new Superman-themed half-hour adventure series inspired by the DC Comics series and set to air Saturdays this fall at 11:00 AM ET/PT in the Kids’ WB! programming block on the new CW. Producers Linda M. For those who haven't met any of us before, looking to meet us at the hotel or the Con center, Look for a Legion "L," yellow lettering ooutlined in black on a white background, about two square feet.
It's been the official sign of two Legion World meet-ups so far.

Any new thoughts on days/times/events to meet up? probably some (many?) of up will want to go to the Legion cartoon panel on Friday. What are good times for meetups? Dinners? Bars - are we all drinkers? Dessert eaters? Breakfast? Lunches during con might be more difficult because of scheduling...

Cali last time I was in Geoff's line the guy in front of me wouldn't stop talking and taking pictures and Geoff had already signed my book so the DC booth henchmen ushered me away. Once you get up there you should handcuff yourself to him (if you weren't going to already). His line always forms very quickly so I'd suggest gettin' in good with the DC booth henchfolk so they can give you the scoop on where creators will be sitting (there's like over a dozen spots possible). Oh and can you say "fake ID"!

My father was telling me that the cable station "G4" (a gaming network, I believe) will be airing a special on the San Diego Con on July 21st (I think), so if you see a camera crew nearby, be sure to get your face in front of it and scream out something about Legion World. Camera crews love geeks, so they'll be sure to air it
