Hey, BRM, can you check over my bike. I haven't used it for a couple of years and I'm sure it needs a tune-up. I'll just stay here and wait and talk to you while you work -- or if you want me to keep quiet, I'll just sit here and twiddle my thumbs until you're done.

Hey, Bicycle Repair Man, Mr. Arthur Penis has had a puncture and has been unable to keep up with the Miss Nude Supermodel 10km cycle race. He's just sitting crying next to his bike in the ditch.
I reckon he may be the unluckiest man in the world.

I wish to state, for the record, that Quislet, Esq acted entirely on his own initiative in obtaining that restraining order. In fact, he acted without even contacting me to discuss the possibility of seeking such an order.

Not that I disapprove of it, necessarily. I just don't want him charging me for the work involved.

And, no, I don't have a Zoo, Interplanetary or otherwise.
I don't know how Kal-El managed to keep P.E.T.A. and the S.P.C.A. off his back; some of those cages were so small, the animals inside didn't even have room to turn around!
Keeping a private zoo = asking for a lawsuit. That kind of trouble I don't need!

Well, the restraining order worked for over a day and a half.
For a place as anarchic as Legion World, I suppose that's pretty good! wink

Hmmm ... Hrun must have had a LOT to drink before wandering in here, to mistake brass plating for gold.

I only have a few really valuable trophies, and like any sensible English fictional character, I keep them in my safe-deposit box. You'll only find functional tools in my Repair Shop, and gold is too soft to make funtional tools. It's also a good conductor of electricity, which means that gold objects are not particularly safe things to leave lying around a workplace.

Nobody here, so he won't mind if I walk in and pin this note to his workbench:

Dear BRM: Would you have any used bicycles for sale? I would like one as a gift for a barbarian, so it had better be strong. Thanks, FC

Yes, and it was great. I ordered the Complete Bone collection which is due in September (I think?). Easier than trying to track down the individual trades and cheaper than buying them.

Now I'll get out of here and leave you to your solitude!
