ok Selene is impossible to beat, and Magma is uber powerful ..
yet Sage is the smartest most cunning X there is ... and Northstar is the fastest ... after I saw him take down Sabretooth I've always given him mad props ..
actually with Shaman as well ... Team Nova seems pretty frickin unbeatable ... yet I disagree with Jubilee being only firework Jubilee as I really like her as vampire jubilee
and jubilee (in any form) + sage + Northstar ... (and a teleporter) is just too tricky and sneeky for words ...
so in the short game ... Selene ...
but in the long game ... Sage has a trump card up her sleeve because she always does ... (and was close enough to Selene for so long to compile lots of data on her weaknesses) and a teleporter, a vampire, and a speedster to play it.

Sage + Leech + Northstar + Jubilee + Pixie? All they have to do is distract Selene long enough for them to get Leech near Selene, Shaman and Synch and it's all over. I'm sure Sage can jumpstart someone's latent mutation there, maybe jumpstart Leech's so he can turn his powers on and off at will. Pixie 'ports him and Jubilee over while Northstar creates a distraction, Jubilee takes down Synch while Leech turns Selene off. Boom!

The next match will take place in the Savage Land. Each team gets an hour of preparation time. I will tally the votes a week from today. This tournament will be completed on July 27, 2013 barring any unforeseen circumstances.
There will be another Tournament running shortly. Please read the Grand Tournament 2013 for details if you are interested. I am hoping to run a traditional tournament.
