Zsazsa Zaturnnah is the story of a gay man who swallows a magical rock that not only gives him superpowers, but turns him into a sexy woman. Go figure. She/he uses her/his powers to fight evil and get close to the guy she/he has a crush on. I am in no way endorsing the swallowing of mysterious objects that fall from the sky in order to get super powers and solve problems with your love life. Here's a nice writeup (don't take the part at the end about Zsazsa Zaturnnah in the DCU as canon, that's just the writer wishing). So Zsazsa (Ada in real life), his assistant Didi, and the love interest Dodong exemplify a lot of gay men you'll meet in the Philippines. You have the flamboyant gay men who dress like women, the not-so-flamboyant but still effeminate gay men who still dress like men, and the "masculine" gay men who blend in with the straight men.
