Oh,how I wish! But no, and Peru is at the top of my global bucket wishlist. Every time I see a picture of Machu Picchu I get the shivers. The city of Cusco is quite a delight as well.





I'm not so interested in the beaches, but I am quite interested in the ancient ruins - such as those of Nan Madol. And also in the giant stone money on Yap.

a) Trinidad and Tobago

Trinidad and Tobago isn't really known for tourism, but this page, among others, says that T&T has beautiful unspoiled beauty and beaches.

I have also read that T&T has great festivals and vibrant culture. I would love to attend the Tobago Heritage Festival, a "two week long show of Tobagonian dance, music, story telling, culture and food.".

b) Panama

Nope, lots to see in Panama. The Panama Canal, for one.

g) Barbados ?

I'm itching to go to Barbados to try some rum!

f) Bahamas?

Got it! I've read about the Bahamas and most of what I've read seems to point to beaches and luxurious cruises and the like. I haven't (yet) come across anything unique that has made me really want to visit.
