It was indeed. Victoria Grant risked ruin by having a couple of good nights out. Before she knew it, she had been hooked on drugs and become a disciple of the Children of the Sun. A fate that surely awaits us all, should we seek to dabble in "night life."  Over to you Ibby!

It's a shame she was earmarked for death all the way through. Because If Wolfman had got his way, the whole DC universe would have restarted at the end of issue 10 with the last 2 being the History of the DCU. That would have meant no room for anomalies such as Earth 2 Robin and Huntress. They may have just vanished, or snuffed it earlier. Perhaps Kole wouldn't have had to go. he could have got rid of Duela Dent (as Infinite Crisis did) instead or Speedy (if they were going to reboot the Green Arrow series) or something like that.
Still thinking of new question - or rather too lazy to go to the box with the titans index issues in it.

Wolfman said in one of his intros that Kole was created because he felt like he had to sacrifice one or two of his creations, so other writers would agree to sacrifice theirs. Sigh. He could have chosen whiny Azrael, but no...
But you're right, if COIE had ended in issue 10, perhaps Kole might have survived... she made it all the way to the end... *sob*
