Just thinking of how these could be laid out while reading through them (in the pre-DnA half, I've stopped @ LSH 100, BTW).
Early Post-ZH:
LSH v1: Beginning of Tomorrow LSH 0, 62-65 Lgs 0, 19-22
LSH v2: White Triangle LSH 66-71 LSH Ann 6 (Kinetix segment only) Lgs 23-28 Lgs Ann 2
LSH v3: Future Tense Superboy 18-19 & 21 LSH 72-74 Lgs 29-31 Lgs Ann 3
LSH v4: Conspiracy LSH 75-80 Lgs 32-36
LSH v5: Eye, Violet LSH 81-84 LGS 37-42
LSH v6: Mordru Lgs 43-46, 48-53, 55
LSH v7: Stranded LSH 85-91 Adv of Superman 540 Lgs 47
LSH v8: C.O.M.P.U.T.I.N.G LSH 92-99, 100 (lead only) Lgs 54 Superboy 45
DnA stuff:
The Legion v1: Legion of the Damned Lgs 78-81 LSH 122-125 LW 6 (Backup only)
The Legion v2: Legion Lost LL 1-12
The Legion v3: Terra Incognita LW 1 (all), 3 (lead) The Legion 1-8
The Legion v4: Robotica LW 4 (lead), 5 (backup), 6 (lead) The Legion 9-16
The Legion v5: Dream Crime LW 4 (backup), 5 (lead) The Legion 17-24
The Legion v6: Foundations LW 2 (lead) The Legion 25-33
Comments? Disagreements?

Sounds good to me! I'd love to have post-boot Legion trades, even though I've got the originals. One of my favorite collection of Trades is the JLA series, as it collects all the stories in handy, attractive volumes, and I really wish DC would consider doing the same for the Legion...

Ditto, I think those arrangements work pretty well, but DC will probably cut out some of the issues.

Plus, I imagine if they did Legion Worlds at all, they'd collect them all into a single trade, and release it just after Legion Lost...assuming of course, they were doing the entire post-boot, in order of publication...

I doubt they'd do a single-volume LW TPB - there's 10 or 11 seperate stories (I strike one off since the LW2 backup slots between pages of the main story of that issue, and you could argue that since the Triad LW1 backup directly follows from her app in the main story there, its all one) between the six issues, by 12 different pencillers. It'd be a nightmare to trade. Plus, some verge between essential (the LW6 main story - which if you're going to collect Legion 9 you really should put in, ditto the LW5 main story for Dream Crime) to helpful (I doubt anyone could call the LW3 main story essential reading, but it helps with TI). But only really in the context of the stories they "attach" to. Anyone disagree?

Nope, I think that the LW stories would probably be separated too, since new readers might end up getting confused. Of course, some might end up being ignored completely, too.

But I'd say that LW 6 (backup as Widening Rifts epilogue, main story with Legion 9), LW 5 (main story with Dream Crime), and the Dreamer backup in 4 (with Dream Crime), are really pretty essential, and most of the rest is helpful.

I'd even buy Post-Boot Trades in those ridiculously-priced Archive Editions! Not sure I'd do that with Pre-Boot (well, not unless Post- were also available, and then only to complete the set), but I'd definitely buy Hardcovers of Legion!

Never gonna happen - I think New Teen Titans v1 is the most "recent" archive - I doubt they'll go into the 5YG, let alone the reboot. But, given that the just-resolicited Beginning of Tomorrow trade is there as a hook, and they're going through the early Post-C for Supes in series now, maybe, just maybe...

I think that all the main stories in LW should be included, but to save costs DC will cut some of the backups. They're not needed to understand the story, but they sure added a lot to the Legion's background.
Oh, for some good post-boot TPBs...

*bumping as a note that the frelling Foundations TPB - reprinting 25-30 - pretty much closes off any chance of seeing the earlier DnA stuff. Although they reprinted Beginning of Tommorrow recently enough that there's still a chance we could see more early post-boot stuff, especially since it now seems more & more likely, thanks to Gail's "slip" in the Seqential Tart interview, that Waid's coming on. And since End of an Era (which would, frankly, make no sense to TPB), BoT and White Triangle encompass the whole of his prior Legion writing IIRC...
