Yup! I wonder if Flamebird kicked Huntress harder cause of Huntress' crack, "heard from Nightwing lately?"

That was a lucky guess.
OK. When Hawk was revealed to be Monarch in Armageddon 2001, (at least) two Titans were there to witness the unveiling.
One of them said "Hank Hall?!? Waverider was right! He is one of us!"
And the other replied "He was really one of us [name of Titan]! He was a Titan! A friend!"
Who were they?

Guessing (in order):
Red Star Nightwing

Flash and Speedy it was!
Speedy's appearance was really weird because he was a fairly minor character at the time and hadn't appeared at all during the rest of the series, yet here he was popping up just as the villain was revealed.
I was sure he was about to be cannon-foddered and read the rest of the issue with great trepidation , but fortunately he survived.
Over to you IB.

Cool, thanks Blacula. I enjoyed the Justice League tie ins to Armaggedon, the possible futures were funny. I think I would have enjoyed seeing the Titans' futures too. If I remember right this would have been towards the end of the Wolfman/Perez classic lineup? Glad Roy was saved he is not my fave character but I think he is one of yours, and I appreciated how he was written during the Arsenal's Titans incarnation and the post-JLA/Titans incarnation. I disliked what they did with him as Red Arrow though! He was is whiny with Hawkgirl, and quit the League because he was jealous of Hawkman. What the? Sorry, rambling. New Q soon

Roy did indeed used to be one of my favourite characters, and certainly was around the time of Armageddon 2001 but, ironically, I think I stopped liking him around the time you started liking him IB. haha
I never liked his Arsenal identity or *any* of the horrible costumes he wore in that role and thought that DC just turned him into a sort of annoying one-note character from about 2000 onwards.
I was initially excited by the Red Arrow change and thought there was potential there, but, par for the course from DC during that period, it was all just thoroughly mishandled. The less said about that horrendous Whine For Justice and all the terrible events that spun from that the better.

Well, i do think he became less interesting when he was leading his own Titans team. I kliked him best when he was kind of flirty but not to the point of being a sex crazed himbo.
And you are right, it was Cos! Back to you Blacula

Ack! Me again.
OK -
"Starfire" was Marv Wolfman's second choice as a name for our favourite alien princess.
What celestial-sounding name did he almost call her before thinking that it had been taken?

Though Leonid and Kori have a "history" in relation to their shared use of the name "Starfire", there was never a time that Kori was nearly also called Red Star.
Kori almost got this name until Marv Wolfman thought another new character at another company was going to be named it. That character actually ended up being called something else (and went on to becoming very successful and a featured character in several movies) but by that point Wolfman had settled on Starfire.

Featured character in several movies... Hmmm....
Marvel comics comes to mind, but I'm thinking of one who was created after Kory....
Rogue?

Hm. I'm assuming the codename in question never actually got used, or at least never got to the celebrity that Starfire and this other heroine did.
Angeldust?

Oh, I misread Blacula's explanation. I think Future understood it correctly.

Not Rogue or Angeldust.
Future has the right idea.
This name was also used by Shakespeare for a character in one of his plays and by Disney for a character in one of their films.

Ariel it is! Which, as some people may or may not know, was going to be Kitty Pryde's name before Sprite.

Nifty. Sprite did become Ariel eventually, but not for long. Wonder if that was chance or after the story first leaked?

I remember reading about the Ariel codename a long, long time ago.
Kitty sure has been through a lot of weird code names...
According to Supergirl (Matrix), in JLA/Titans, Bumblebee was attacking someone a bit above her power class. Who was that someone?
