Oh, I was sure that Sue was with the opposition because I thought I had a guess with both her and Hulk in the opposition, then you said Hulk wasn't in either... Or I might have gotten muddled. Let me think about it for a bit...

I was just cruel and chose not to confirm Sue immediately the first time you guessed her in the Holy Guard when I revealed one member at a time. Over all the rounds you have correctly identified over ten members, just not in the same guess. I know, I'm being a pill.

Whew. That was fun. Thanks for the trip down memory lane, Future. I only read one issue of the crossover, and the scene where Sleepwalker commands weeds to drag Human Torch and Darkhawk into the water stood out - which is why I was sure of those three. I also remember Storm and Jean arguing en route to the Goddess' planet. Finally, I remember Spider-Man being on the Goddess' side but also being aghast at how violent some of the Holy Guard were being.

If I recall correctly, Sleepwalker was in the Holy Guard but when he woke up his human counterpart was freed. I thought that was neat. Same with Aurora's dual personalities being factored in.

While I didn't care for the cosmic epic overall, I loved the discussion and dialogue that resulted amongst the characters when it came to religion. It wasn't a topic a lot of heroes had dived into before aside from stats. I recall a few heroes being irked as they considered themselves religious, yet weren't approached for the Holy Guard. "What does that mean?" Etc.

Practically all of Alpha Flight was enthralled by the Goddess. Lots of religion and mysticism in their ranks.

I also don't recognize some of the Holy Guard - could you help me identify them Future? The guy in the mask between Talisman and Sasquatch, the girl to the right of Archangel, is that Living Lightning to the left of Sue, and is there a last hero to the right of Quicksilver?

Mask guy is Moon Knight. Girl to the right of Archangel is Silhouette of the New Warriors. Living Lightning was there and Multiple Man was also a member who wasn't depicted on the board.
