Can anyone help me identify the characters I do not know from this picture?

Clayface III is in the blue exoskeleton. The guy with webbing is Black Spider. The hooded guy is the Spook. The Cavalier is the guy who's dressed as, ummm, a cavalier.

I'm actually blanking on the guy holding the helmet, but next to him is Killer Moth.

Thanks Dave, this is a big help!

Do you know who the guy in green is, the one to the right of Gentleman Ghost?

Getaway Genius! That's it. I was stuck on Fadeaway Man for some reason, but his costume was different. Thanks, Nightcrawler!

So that's a different character than the Getaway Master who fought the Martian Manhunter/JLA?

I have started counting the votes, but will hold off on posting any results until tomorrow morning in case of any last minute votes.

Thanks also EDE and Nighty!

I have had fun reading up on all these villains. Black Spider and The Spook are the ones who pique my interest the most.

Thanks for saving me from some typing NC!@

Now I have a question about the list -

Who is Red Hood (Silver Age)? I thought that was just one of the Joker's many disguises? Or was it a separate character back then?

I consider the Red Hood (Silver Age) to be a significant alternative version of the Joker, as it inspired the Modern Age Version. That's why it made the list. I tried to put as many known versions of the characters as possible on the list.

In retrospect, I regret not placing Elseworlds versions on this list; but that could be an Idol in itself so maybe we will see them another day.

Results: The winner of this round if Clayface II with 56 points.

Cavalier 51 91%

Clayface I (Karlo) (Golden Age) 50 89%
Poison Ivy (Silver Age) 50 89%
Ventriloquist I (Arnold) 50 89%
Joker (Silver Age) 49 88%
Riddler (Silver Age) 48 86%
Catman (Pre-New 52) 47 84%
Scarecrow 47 84%
Two-Face (Golden Age) 47 84%
Dr. Phosphorous 45 80%
Kite-Man 45 80%

Catman (Silver Age) 44 79%
Spellbinder I 44 79%
Talia Al Ghul 44 79%
Black Spider 43 77%
Catwoman (Silver Age) 43 77%
Signalman 43 77%
Anarky 42 75%
Copperhead 42 75%

The medium is around 41/40 points this round.
Calendar Man (Silver Age) 41 73%
Crazy Quilt 41 73%
Mister Freeze (Bronze Age) 40 71%
Mister Freeze (Silver Age) 40 71%

Killer Croc (Bronze Age) 39 70%
Killer Moth 39 70%
Man-Bat 39 70%
Maxie Zeus 38 68%
Tweedledum (Dumfree) 38 68%
Blockbuster I 37 66%
Cluemaster 37 66%
Harley Quinn 37 66%
Hugo Strange 37 66%
Mad-Hatter 37 66%
Tweedledee 37 66%

Characters close to being eliminated:

Nocturna 36 64%
Red Hood (Silver Age) 36 64%
Crime Doctor 35 63%
Penguin (Silver Age) 35 63%

Everyone that was eliminated this round:

KGBeast 31 55%
Sterling Silversmith 31 55%
Monk 30 54% <-- The first Bat-Villain is out.
Ratcatcher 30 54%
Spook 30 54%
Magpie 28 50%
Ra's Al-Ghul 28 50% <-- I am very surprised by this, given he was in a major movie pretty recently.

Black Mask 23 41%
Joe Chill 22 39%
Outsider 22 39%

Surprisingly, despite two players voting only 10s and 1s, the rate of characters eliminated remains at a steady 10 characters per round. It will be interesting to see if the rate increases after the margins shrink (less b or c listers to give half points to).

The next round will start this afternoon.

Now I slightly regret not giving Spook more points.

A bit surprised at how high up Cavalier was.

Two versions of Catman and two of Mr. Freeze still on te list! And two of Clayface but these are different people.

Nightcrawler also used the 1 and 10 tactic alongside Blacula and I.

I'm surprised Ra's was out too. Perhaps some folks *really* didn't like him popping up in Legion smile

I thought he'd be in the top 10. Personally, it wasn't a Batman era I've read much of, and it wasn't hugely referenced when I started picking up comics. They were considered very good stories even then though, and I got the feeling that people were letting enough time go by before bringing him back in.

Black Mask was around when I was reading Batman, and I thought he'd hang around a little longer in Idol.

Despite Joe Chill's importance to the Bat-mythos, he's not exactly a recurring villain in it, outside of very frequent flashbacks to the same scene. What about a story where we see Joe Chill's day? Has that been done?

I think I know Magpie more for her appearance in Legends than anything else.

My remaining memory of KGBeast, was of Batman facing an awkward conclusion, and choosing a path shaped by him being an older crime fighter. There was a moment where he was aged in his role.

Shame to see Super-Alfred in his Outsider guise going too.

A lot of us gave Ra's 9s or 10s last round. Personally I did it because I thought he was overused.

Should I do a recount or should we just move forward?

There is a very high chance there will be a Wild Card round, where you can pick a characters(s) that have been eliminated.

I'm amazed at the consistent love being shown toward Clayface (Silver Age). Unless you've all got some very valuable back-issues, that one panel he appeared in during Crisis must have made a big impression on everyone. wink

I love the Silver Age. He was a member of the Anti-Justice League.
