It IS Mysa Nal. Who has never technically auditioned for the Legion, was at the Legion Academy with Jacques because of that for a spell, and has served with the Devil's Dozen and the Wanderers though her motives in both don't necessarily indicate she was a criminal/evil.

I knew I would have to read your clues a bit more carefully.
