The winner this round is Professor Zoom. Since there are only five characters yet, I am not going to bother with percents.

Professor Zoom 25
Gorilla Grodd 23
Trickster 24

Eliminated
Pied Piper 19
Weather Wizard 17

I asked thoth lad to substitute for me when I go on vacation later today. Please start the next round either later tonight or tomorrow.

Yes, you can have 1,2 or 3 when allocating points.

Gorilla Grodd 3 - He's a genus level gorilla supervillain with telepathic powers and a background that includes aliens. He is everything cool about the Silver Age.

Professor Zoom 2 - science fiction, time travel and super villainy for Barry Allen's dark nemesis.

Trickster 1 - Lots of fun visual gimmicks, but his time doing heroic things loses him some points for me.

Final Round Update!

The Trickster maintains a slender lead, but it's been cut back by recent support for Grodd. Can The Trickster hold on? Close behind both is Professor Zoom. Can the man with super speed ever be ruled out of a race to the finish line?

It's certainly close enough that only a couple of posts will make a difference!

Silver/Bronze Age Gorilla Grodd was awesome. Unfortunately, the 90s/00s happened and Grodd, like other formerly awesome characters like Killer Croc, Killer Moth and The Shark, became monster-fied and seemed to be unpleasantly depicted eating people in every other appearance. That kind of portrayal ruined all of those characters for me.

Oh wow. Thanks, Blacula. I found the new "eat people" tactic a bit cheap and lurid, and my fondness for these characters dimmed. Glad I'm not alone.

I'm only familiar with Silver Age Grodd, not Modern. Sigh. They had to go ruin a good thing... Why would he need to eat people?!?!

Humans eat monkey brains, and perhaps that's close enough for Grodd to want a bit of revenge smile

I believe Gorilla City should hire you, Thoth. You could help build a bunch of marketing strategies for all their enterprises as they move into the world

It's looking good for the Trickster, unless there are any late votes coming in. Emily should be back soon, and can cast her vote before declaring the winner.

Jillikers! More tense than this guy deciding on which world to get crushed in!

[Linked Image]

I'm making it a dead heat between Grodd and Trickster!

How will Emily decide to vote? Will Emily's be the only late vote? Will Emily vote? Do we have to create alternate Earth's where everyone wins? Stay Tuned!

Professor Zoom 3 <- In the LMB verse, I'm betrothed to one of his descendants, so I am biased.
Trickster 2

In light of last minute votes, I will keep voting opened until 10:00 P.M Central Time. Then I will tally the votes.

Thank you for being a great substitute, thoth lad! Would you like to continue in this capacity in the LSV Idol? That will start a month from today.
